I just looked up how many ships will be in port(s) with us next week in Alaska. In Ketchikan there will be 7 ships in port on Sunday, In Juneau on Monday there will be 5, and 4 will be in Skagway on Tuesday.   Is this normally how many there are?  I’ve heard mention that 4 is a lot…. Will we even be able to do anything with that many people?

where did you look up to find how many ships in port please

We have some missing Captain's Club points and have been trying to contact Captain's Club to claim what we are owed.  As we are from New Zealand we are directed to the Australian office.  We go through to the dedicated CC line but are told by the operators that to contact CC we have to send an email.  We have sent two off now but after a long wait haven't even had any acknowledgement.  Our travel agent also tried  a couple of times but has had no success.  As a last resort, we even wrote a letter to Guest Services on the Edge, (the ship we had been on), and when it came into port in our home town, we asked a passenger if they would deliver it for us.  We had hoped they could do something from their end.  Still, no joy.

I am now looking at ringing the Captain's Club in the USA directly to see if I have any success.  I have found this number on the website 1-844-418-6824

Due to the different time zones, I have been trying to work out the best time to ring.  What state is this number for so I can calculate the time accurately?  Or do you think it is outsourced to another country?

    Many thanks for your help.

I had the same problem so I went to the loyalty service on my last cruise on Millennium and she fixed it for me.  Apparently I had 2 accounts which I was told does happen.  It is frustrating because i got no reply from emails to the loyalty at celebrity. Maybe write back and see if you have the same problem.  I am in Australia

Is Celebrity adding the luggage tags availability to the Documents section to be able to print them out thirty days before sailing? Thanks in advance to those who reply.

If you booked through a travel agent Celebrity have said that the travel agent will send you the documents now.  This just happened to me for my trip next week.  Finally got the documents added to my planner so that I could print off the tags

Im going on the edge class for the first time.

I always saleect late dining 830 with the same waiter and table.

Now, we can go to different restaurant each night

will I have to wait in line if I want a different restaurant each night even when I have selected late dining 830pm?

I have just got off Edge and we had the Tuscan restaurant each night, same time but you can ask for the menu for the other restaurants and choose from them to be brought to the restaurant you are given.  Worked fine.

We have standard wi-fi on upcoming Australia cruises.   Can someone with recent experience comment on how well it works vs. upgrading to premium?  We don't stream. Only email,  Facebook,  etc.

    Thanks

It is not strong enough to use WhatsApp for phone calls or attaching photos.  But for looking at emails and Facebook it is ok

Our friends are sailing in Concierge class, but we have a standard infinite veranda on Beyond. Would X allow us to join them for the embarkation lunch, or are they pretty strict about who can go to the MDR? It’s totally understandable if we can’t go, but was just curious if we have the option.

No they won't let you join.  It is a perk for Concierge class only...

My husband and I watched the webinar that was over an hour with Laura answering questions,

Our power up points were supposed to be posted by October 14th. They were not. I called October 15th and was on

the phone with a very nice rep in the captains club department. He knew nothing about the webinar. He had me on the phone

for about 35 minutes. First he was checking to see if my points were posted which they weren’t. Then he checked and couldn’t even find

any info that we did the webinar. He said he was sending an email to his supervisors and he’d email me when he gets a response. I hope I hear back from him. I did take a screenshot when the survey ended in case I needed proof. No email was received when I finished it which didn’t make sense. Has anyone received their points?

Same but it happened on the previous questionnaire with no points

I have received my boarding documents, yay! However there is verbage in the paperwork that states:

"Remember to print your Xpress Pass and bring it with you in order to board the ship. In the absence of a printed Xpress Pass, additional forms will need to be completed at the Pier."

Then on the website, it says:

"Your digital boarding passes are ready, get them in the app now

Using the app will improve your experience, but if you don’t have a smartphone or cannot access the app, print this page and bring it with you to the terminal."

If I have the Xpress pass on my app, why do I need it printed out? And if I have it on my app and not printed out, that inadvertently means I need additional forms? Or is this yet another example of the IT/website messed up again?

Do I need to print out the entire guest ticket booklet or just the one with the bar code? Or none?

Silly question do they give you a boarding time like RCI

  9. Have you ever tried to put a cabin on the waitlist using Celebrity's wonderful IT reservation system? Well, let me tell you -- don't bother, because it doesn't work. Here's my story:

Yesterday someone on the Roll Call announced he just cancelled an upcoming cruise to Bermuda and had one of those five coveted AQ aft balconies on Deck 11. I went on the Celebrity website and put the cabin on a 24-hour hold and called my TA. I asked her to call Celebrity and make the switch for me, but first, I had to release the reservation.

While on the phone with my TA who was also on the phone with Celebrity, I asked my TA to put that cabin on the waitlist. I would go into "My Celebrity" and release the cabin, then being on the waitlist, she could make the switch with no problems.

Well, it didn't work. Once I released it, it went back into the general inventory. Luckily, I was able to snag it as my TA was on the phone with Celebrity.

I guess Celebrity's waitlist system is pretty much non-existent. So, if you know of someone who is going to cancel a certain cabin, and you would like it, you have to make sure your timing works out, or you will lose it.

I had a similar situation on a cruise booked for next year - even though on the phone with TA and celebrity my TA couldn't grab it once my holding reservation had been released - got another cabin 3 doors down but would have preferred the one on hold. Needless to say that has gone now as it was a disabled cabin.
