  1. We did Rio Secreto in October and it was amazing. We put our backpack and bags in the lockers and felt that it was safe and secure. Unfortunately, you can't take your camera with 😞 But the photo they take are definitely worth getting. Such a great experience. Oh, and the food at their buffet was super yummy.

  2. I purchased the $99 deal from royal caribbean's website on Sunday for our sail date of August 14th. Since then, I have received an order confirmation and an amenity confirmation. I called RCI to double check and the rep told me to print a copy of the amenity confirmation to take onboard just in case.

The other 3 couples sailing with us also bought the package and got both confirmations. I'll report back in a few weeks to see if everything went well!

  3. The promotion period did not cover my cruise, however, it did allow me to purchase it without issues at the $99

I also called to confirm that all members in my rooms will be covered and they will be.

Did you do this through https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts/onboard-delivery/gifts/all-inclusive-photo-package/ or https://www.mycruisephotos.com/? I want to go ahead and try to get the $99 special but want to make sure that I get all the needed info.

The mycruisephotos digital package is $299, so it's a pretty big difference. Also, I was told by a mycruisephotos rep that the digital + print package is not available on Liberty (yet it's listed in their drop down selection). I'm getting all sorts of different information :)

  4. The All inclusive Digital photo package is onsale for $99.99

What is the difference between buying a photo package through royalcaribbean.com and http://www.mycruisephotos.com?

On royal caribbean's website the all inclusive digital package is $99 and on mycruisephotos the digital package is $299. Actually, our sail date is August 14th, so we may not qualify for the royal caribbean's special.

  5. I've been looking at the photo packages for the Liberty of the Seas and wanted to see if anyone had the onboard prices for them?

We are a family of 8 adults and 6 kids (4 cabins total) and I wanted to see how to make the best out the package. One of the couple has 4 kids, but two of those kids will be rooming with their grandparents. I have emailed http://www.mycruisephotos.com and they said that the kids rooming with the grandparents would be included with their parents, but the grandparents would need to buy their own package. So if the grandparents take pictures by themselves (with no kids) that photo would not be included.

Also, would you recommend the "all your digital photos" or "all your digital photos + prints"? If you get just the digital, I'm assuming that you do not get any of the prints that they make onboard?

Thanks a bunch and sorry about the long message :)

  6. I booked early saver in Feb for my July 14th cruise. With the new pack and go sale, the carnival rep told me that I could get a price difference in the form of OBC (it would be $241 for my husband and I).

However, she said that because it is considered a downgrade and early savers usually does not get price protection from pack and go sale, we would no longer be considered early savers. Also we would not be able to do anymore price adjustments.

Does this sound correct? Would it be worth it to switch?

  7. I booked a cruise for July back in January under ES. At the time of booking, Carnival was running their $50/person deposit that is non-refundable. We also paid for the vacation protection/insurance plan at the time.

I called Carnival and they told me that if we cancel our cruise, we'd lose the $50 deposit (which I was aware of) and we would also lose the payment for the vacation protection. I was not aware that the vacation protection was non-refundable.

Does anyone have any insight about this?

  8. Can anyone recommend a reputable parking company near the port? thanks

We used park n cruise when we were there last august. Very efficient. They shuttled us to the port and when we came back from our cruise they were at the port waiting to take passengers back to their car. Much cheaper than parking at the port.
