You may use the Lido, the returning Mainers can use the main dinning room.

There is a window of time that the dinning room will be open.

All the Carnival Corporation computers talk to each other. There are no secrets among the lines. :D

 

Seriously, if you check with the Mariner Society, you will probably find that you already have a Mariner number, and it was derived from your Carnival history.

Thanks. I figured it was something like the computers taking to each other but it is nice to know. BTW, you're right .. we do have a Mariner's number for our Nov. cruise.

This will be our first cruise on HAL but we've been on Carnival four times so from what I've seen on this board we would qualify for lunch on embarkation day in the MDR.

My question: how will HAL know about our Carnival cruises?

My husband will be on the Master Chef cruise on the Westerdam sailing from Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 8, 2014. Please add us to your list :)

We'll need a scooter delivered to Port Canaveral. I've found companies that will delivery to the Orlando Airport but none that will deliver to the port (or somewhere close).

Any suggestions?

I was on the Valor week before last and it may have been out of the norm but the balcony door actually stayed opened on it's on. I just had to push it all of the way open and it remained opened. Unsure if someone with knowledge of the doors did this or what but it was nice.

I'm hoping we'll see the same on the Liberty in May.

What do you use to prop open the balcony door?

We use a bungee cord .. it works well. You can pick them up at the dollar store.

BTW, we've never had a problem with insects flying in or anything else.

Our stewards have never said anything about us having the door open.

Sleeping with the door open is one of the reasons we pay the extra for a balcony cabin. :)

We just got off the Dream about two hours ago and their was no unlimited internet package available. Just the same old service at the same old sky high prices.

I'm hoping that we'll see it on the Dream Saturday. I'd love to be able to take an entire week with no contact but that is not my reality. Oh the woes of a small business owner! ;)

We sail on the Dream Saturday and would love to know if it is currently available or if it is the X number of minutes for X $.

I honestly have no need for internet while I am on a vacation. Unless I have children at home (and I don't) or a sick family member, There is no need for me to connect with facebook, email, ect. I am on a vacation. I will catch up with all that when I get home.

I own a small, internet based business and it is vital that I have the ability to check on things when I am away .. vacation or not ;)
