We are on the 21st sailing too! I was looking forward to drunken races..... i guess we'll just have to book the Vista again.

We are on the April 21st sailing my kids will be so disappointed. They picked this ship for the sky bikes! Bummer

We sailed the Dream a few years back over the 4th. They had a huge deck party that night. They handed out glow stuff, and a ton of other red white and blue items. It was a lot of fun, but no fireworks or anything like that just a big party

We always love Mr Sancho's they have an all inclusive deal. Short ride from cruise port. Beach chairs, beach, drinks and food. Also pool and bathrooms.

The carnival sunshine was NOT saltwater when we were on it do not all Carnival ships are saltwater

Some of the rooms on deck 12 the balcony are covered (the closer to the front of boat are covered) I am not looking at a deck plan so I am not sure of the numbers. We stayed on deck 12 spa balcony and loved it, our balcony was not covered and we never had anyone standing at the rail above us

Taxi each way is about $16 (for up to 4 passengers in the cab) each way +tip. You can skip making a deposit and just pay when you arrive, but you'll pay a few dollars more than if you had booked on line. Good luck! :)

Which one is better with Kids, I have two daughters that are 6 and 11! Looking for something fun for them both.
