  1. We are going on the Independence Dec 12 of this year. I know that is a little while away but we are willing to get a model for you.

Thanks, I will keep you in mind if I cannot get a hold of one sooner. I have checked ebay and they are super expensive, plus two of the ships I need are not on there. I am thinking $60 should cover everything and leave you with a little in your pocket for your troubles. The models are $33 and not heavy so I can't imagine shipping being more than $10.

  2. Hello,

I hoping some of my fellow CC members can help me out. My wife and I have just begun our ship model collection. We have been on a few cruises already and never thought about getting the ship models and collecting until this last trip. Since we already have a few cruises booked and it will be a while before we book again on the ships we have already been on, we were hoping of getting help with the ship models.

If anyone is interested in buying a model while on Independence, Vision, or Liberty of the Seas during your cruise and shipping it to us, it would be greatly appreciated. We can send you the money via paypal or a money order, whichever you prefer, and include enough for shipping costs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please reply if your interested in helping out. We need Independence, Vision, and Liberty.

  3. While this has probably been asked already I am asking again;

I will be on a cruise next month and I want to book a short 3 day cruise while onboard. I don't think I receive any perks for the short cruise such as onbaord credit offers, but I was wondering if I will get the $100 deposit per stateroom instead of per person.

Also I am booking two staterooms, one for a friend of mine, so I wasn't sure if that would be okay or not.

    Any suggestions would help.

    Thanks

  4. Well, unfortunately my wife and I are going to have to cancel the cruise we had scheduled for February 16th on Majesty as she has been placed in the hospital and diagnosed with leukemia. Didn't buy the travel insurance and she went to the hospital the day after we could cancel without penalty. :(. If anyone has had any luck with RC getting a refund without penalty for something like this please let me know. Otherwise I have until Jan 4th to cancel with the $100.00 per person penalty. I have already contacted RC through e-mail but have not heard back yet.

Hopefully everything will be okay for the September 7 day Cruise we have scheduled to Puerto Rico. Hope everyone has fun and says goodbye to the Majesty for us. Anyone who wants to send their cruise love to her just visit our facebook page.

  5. Looking for a great place to each some local dishes in Nassau. would love to be at a place with some variety of conch fritters, seafood, and local meat dishes. In addition it needs to be upbeat and fun with great views and local beers. Any ideas for me would be great.

  6. I know most of your posts regard carnival pub tours, however, I will be on RCCL Vision of the Seas. There is a pub tour excursion available for us as well. It says we will visit four pubs/bars and have our choice of a beer or mixed drink at each one. It is not clear if this is included in the price or not. I was wondering if anyone could tell me that and also what bars we go to.

  7. Ctrinco, so you say these discounts are on the Seapass card? Are they listed by name, picture or what?

Djfrickman, my question, does my friend have to book another room, or can they be in my room for this credit, if you know?

The friend can be in the same cabin. When I took my wife in November, she had never been on RC before, she was in the same cabin as me, and we got the $25 OBC issued. The only restriction is you have to be cruising at the same time as the friend. So you can't refer a friend if your not on that cruise and bank the OBC for a furture cruise.

As for the discounts on the card, the coupons, when you get into your stateroom on the first day there will be a sheet listing all the coupons in your status level. Then when you want to use one, you just tell the employee to apply it when you make the purchase.

I am not an expert but feel free to ask anymore questions, I will help if I can.

BTW, in my opinion, one of the coupons is a "Free Spin to Win" in the casino. Don't let that one go to waste. Just go to the cashier window and ask for your "Free Spin to Win" they will give you a token and you put it in the slot machine. Who knows, you might be a big winner!

  8. To the individual who was inquiring about their C&A status and are bringing a friend on their cruise who has never been on RC, once you get your C&A status situated, log in online under their website and find the "Bring a Friend" link under the C&A page.

If your friend has never been on RC before, all you have to do is fill out a small form, RC will check it, and you can receive $25 of on-board credit.

    Easy Money!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

  9. So, I have just booked a cruise on Vision of the Seas for May 3-8, 2014. We are exited that it is just three months away, however, have never traveled on this class ship.

I was wondering if this ship has a night club like the Catacombs on Liberty of the Seas.

Also, is there a good comedy show on this ship.

If anyone can attach some menus from this ship and possibly some things to do in Key West for my DW and I. We want to go to the beach but need some input on what beaches are the best.

    Thanks

  10. I believe that it was something that they just offered up. Basically, my brother in law is going with us and he called to make a reservation for a specialty restaurant. After he made the initial reservation, we realized he scheduled it for the formal night which is something we like going to the dining room for. So, i asked if he could change it and he said he would call. He called back like a couple hours later and said that he was on hold for a while but they changed it for him and gave his room and mine 25 in OBC for the hassle. I think that it was pretty cool since it was our mistake to begin with, but I guess they felt bad about the long wait on the phone.
