  1. The advantage of upgrading on board is you can do it mid cruise and then you only pay for the days left! So if on a 10 day cruise you upgrade on day 3 ...... you pay the extra for 7 days! Worth it just for the Martini bar & the mixology cocktails alone

  2. Hi, after more than 20 cruises I never thought that I was going to ask for a cabin advice but this one seems a hard one. Got a Black card match and we are going to try the Divina YC1 on April but I want to reserve the Seaside for March 2018 and seems open all the AFT Aurea suites. I love the wake and the wrap around seems very tempting. We don't drink so Sprite and water will be good for us so the all inclusive package of the YC don't matter too much for us but the private area, the Muse restaurant and the extra perks will be cool to have. YC1 its $5,400 Aurea AFT Suites are $3,700

Worth every $ to get a YC1 cabin.

  3. We have done 11 NCL cruises before we went on our first MSC cruise in the Yacht Club. We are now hooked and have now done 6 MSC cruises in a row. 2 already this year with the next one on the maiden trip from a Venice to Miami. We have also noted that the NCL prices for the Haven area are now over priced compared with the Yacht Club which we also feel give much better value for money.

  4. We have been on many MSC Cruises all in the Yacht Club which is a fantastic area. One thing you need to now is the MSC suite in the YC are not suites at all. They are a single room which is a lot different to other suites we have had on lines such as in the NCL Haven area where you get a living room and bedroom. Saying that the YC cabins a very nicely done our but not much bigger than a standard cabin on board unless you are in a Royal suite. We have loved every thing about the YC and have 3 YC cruises booked this Year including the maiden voyage on the 1st Dec from Venice.

  5. We are happy repeat MSC cruisers, but our July 2015 cruise on the Splendida will be our first Yacht Club experience. Would appreciate any suggestions about tipping our butler, above the standard service charge automatically added to our bill. We are happy to tip well for good service, just need some guidance on what is "right" to do.

Apologies if this is already posted somewhere and I didn't find it. Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Through CC we have done many meet and greets but never with MSC. I don't think they get involved with organising anything on board.

    Regards

    Hi,

We will be with you in the Yacht Club on the 29th July. We have done many cruises mainly with NCL and MSC.We always book the YC with MSC and find the service very very good. As already said by others we tip extra at the end of the cruise subject to the service we get.

Judy and I look forward to meeting you.

    Regards

    Laurence
