I understand that I just don’t see how you can call it free when it is that much of a price difference is all!!

I find it funny they offer these 5 free perks , but you have to first choose a cabin thats not sail away and then pay all the gratuity for them as well!! The difference in my sail a way balcony and one with the perks was $1034. How is that a perk? I mean even if you drink like a fish it would be hard to reach that even with 3 free meals and $50 off of shore excursions!! None of the cabins on the breakaway have obstructed views so I’m not worried about that , I moved mine back down to a sail a way and will just pay as I go because I don’t see myself spending over $1000 , I never have before!! I’m just curious what others think about this ?

Thanks everyone for the replies, why would you even waste your time purchasing Carnival bar or Carnival photo, when you can just do Carnival cash that really doesn't make any sense
-
Yes, but I believe it is limited to $500 per cabin.
I just don't want to purchase the wrong one, and not be able to use it for pretty much everything

That would be plenty for me plus I would have more money with me, I just thought it would be a good way for me to put that money away and have it when I cruise, and I know I can't touch it, LOL

I was looking at adding $50 in carnival cash every paycheck until I cruise in September. My only problem is there are three options the first option looks like a general onboard credit Cruise cash, the second is a cruise bar cash, and the third one is a cruise photo cash, I'm looking to have General on board credit by using the carnival cash for Bar, photos, fun shops, bingo, anything that I would buy on the ship, so my question is what the first one that looks like a general Cruise Cash cover everything?

Going to st Thomas. Ship getting there at 7am and probably not off until 9 and leaving at 3, so need to be back on by 1-1:30 .. that only gives me 4 -4 1/2 hours there.. thinking of just shopping but I would rather go to a nice beach for about 3 hours or so , or maybe the aquarium then coki beach so we can get 2 in one .. how long are the taxi rides there , or any suggestions for that time period would be appreciated!!

Is there terminal parking at the port in port canavral like there is in Miami? Where you can just walk to the cruise terminal?

Try to sneak a 12 pack in your checked luggage, from past experience it will probably make it through

We have a cruise booked on epic for Dec 3rd..7 days western Caribbean. The price on the Epic for the week before has dropped and we are thinking of doing it as well, as it sails eastern, so same ship 2 different itenararies nice huh?? Lol. My question(s) are 1. Do we have to get off and get back on and 2. I may not have enough clothes for that long and may need to wash for the second cruise..lol .. will they let us off to find a laundromat, etc and how much of a headache will this b2b be as far as the process?

Are there any nice nice beaches by cab that you can get to in Nassau that's not real far from port.. going on a short 3 day wedding cruise and there are a lot of us and no one really wants to do excursions. I have been to Nassau many times just never searched out a beach always did excursions. Looking for something by cab only not ferry and that is safe and beautiful for kids and adults. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm hearing that la cucina has went to ala carte menu and the steak and lobster on the dining menus in the free restaurants will have an up charge , etc .. Is anyone else hearing this , my girlfriend called them today and was told this ..if I have to start paying for food what's the point. The small up charge for the for fee restaurants was ok, but a full price restaurant isn't nor is an upcharge in the free dining areas , any one know anything?

I agree its worth it , If you drink 15 beers a day with Cheers you will save lots of cash compared to buying 15 beers at ship cost individually .

So what’s the reasoning for Europeans not having to pay for the extras?
