  1. If you are spending the day in St George make sure you eat at Tavern By The Sea & order the fish & chips. It's the best fish I ever eaten.

We rented an apartment last year in St George & this year we are doing a cruise just so I can go eat there again.

Fort Catherine is just past Tabaco Bay

  2. Not a passagner story but a bartender on the EOS, feb. 9 sailing. Four of us were drinking at the sports bar, having fun and being silly. Well we ran into someone from the same county as us so they joined in with our silliness but the bartender didn't like it and started rolling his eyes at us.

The rude bartender who looked down his nose at me, not once but twice, in the Chamber. I guess I wasn't young and pretty enough for him. No wonder the Chamber was always dead

  3. Now we know why they dont put pens in the cabins anymore!:o:p:D

Where I use to work we had to do our paperwork in pencil. A guy's pencil went rolling off his work table and when he went to grab it, it stabbed him and the point broke off in his hand. So, what did work do? They confinscated all pencils and made us use pens. After a month or so, after they got tired of trying to see the right numbers through all the mistakes did they give us back our pencils.

Also, this company does not allow knives on the work floor but what did they give out as a little safety gift??????? Yep, you guessed it, a really cool pocket knife

  4. Hopefully it was a one time thing regarding the donuts as i liked the donuts and my son really liked them as well.

I am filipino and liked the pandesal "salt bread" in the am buffet and that was gone as well. Hopefully that is just ship dependent but it has been on my last several cruises. Not likely cost cutting maybe just head chef preference.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

From what we were told they threw every last thing away from the noro cruise. There were a lot of little stuff missing yet and it will be another week, at least, before all the supplies are back to normal.

They also throw out every last crumb of food. They had a different food supplier for the last two or three cruises.

  5. Because we use the fridge for my Insulin and Hubby's Embril which must stay cold plus fruit and juice we bring from the Jammer in case my diabetes is wonky with extra walking that day.

For the week it's our fridge and there isn't enough room with all the Woo Haa in it as well.

    Special case, I know.

The first thing I did when I entered my room (I was also on this sailing), I emptied the fridge by opening up the bottom left hand drawer and placed everything from the fridge & their water into the drawer until Saturday evening when I sat it all back on the counter

  6. That is awesome to donate like that to

    Make-a Wish!!!!

My cousin was selected as one of their causes.

The foundation provided all costs for her and her parents to go to Florida for a one week vacation and spend time with her brother. She died 3 months later from Ovarian cancer at the ripe young age of 17.

Thanks again, we always donate and do the walk on board.

    Sea Ya

    So sorry to hear that.
