  1. I have cruised to Bermuda end of May to beginning of June once and once in Sept.  It was pretty cool on the ship outside esp . At night. Sept was much more comfortable.  We has had strong winds and Portuguese Man of War jellyfish were present at Horse Bay beach and my cousin was stung by one.  That was during our late May early June cruise.  We did not see any or hear anyone getting stung during our Sept cruise. We are planning to cruise to Bermuda  late July this year and hope we don’t encounter them again.  I understand if winds blowing a certain way more likely to encounter them.  Bermuda is a gorgeous island and I can’t wait to return.

  2. We will also be sailing Jan 10th.  Love Oasis class too and have probably sailed Oasis and Allure 5 or 6 times  but did Adventure last yr and had a great time.  Wanted to go somewhere different this yr so choose this cruise for itinerary.  Have been to Curacao and Aruba once yrs ago,  Labadee many times, and will be our first time in Bonaire.  Thanks for doing this,  will be following

  3. We have done ov balcony, Central Park balcony and boardwalk balcony on Oasis and Allure. Although I prefer ov balcony, I don't think it was worth the extra money bc we didn't spend much time on our balcony as there is so much to do on this class of ships. I just got off Allure last Sun. And the only thing I would really suggest is not to book in the forward part of the ship. We were all the way forward inside cabin this time and felt a lot of vibration and noise when docking. Also, felt more motion in general. We hadn't had a forward cabin in many yrs. and I had forgot about the increased motion which bothers my husband. I was just going for the cheapest room this cruise. Also, we were on deck 7 and could here he music from gym below but didn't bother since didn't here it until 8 or later and we were always awake and out of cabin then

  4. We will be sailing Allure for the 2nd time Dec 18th.(sailed Oasis 2x). We like the Solarium cafe and Wipe out cafe esp. for lunch on a sea day, since Windjammer is usually very busy. PArk cafe is great but is often crowded with not many places to sit. Love the cantilevered hot tubs. Johnny Rockets for most breakfasts and one lunch. Use the stairs as much as possible if able since the elevators are often busy and you wil be able to burn off some of the extra calories you consume.

  5. Sorry your sick but Noro is so common. I am a pediatric nurse and have gotten it about every year or two for the past 14 yrs of my career. It is nasty and I think about changing to another field every time I get it. We see it all the time in our office. It has happened to one of my kids one time in the past 15 cruises and he got it the evening of boarding, which means he contracted it before getting on the ship. Good luck!
