If you can carry all your own bags off and schlep them over to SkyTrain (400 yards), then the other ships don't matter much - even if delayed because all other ships clear before yours so the queues for escalators, CBSA etc. are already long you will be at YVR within an hour of leaving the pier. But if you do need help with bags then that means you need a cab or shuttle or limo, so you may find that flight challenging to make unless it's a quiet day with few people fighting you for transportation!

 

Most cruiselines refuse to book a flight for pax before noon or even 12:30pm - so that's a nice safe target time for the earliest flight if you need any help whatsoever.

We end in Vancover and flight would be at 11:30. Will this be enough time?

We are diamond plus but have never made it to Alaska. There are many RCCL that cruise there but which has the must do stops. Going to book for May cruise and will be chilly. Is it warm enough to get value out of a balcony. Not interested on land tour add on at this time. Thanks 

We are on Rhapsody now and I thought I would never complain of  the food, but I was wrong. They have definitely cut back unless you love chicken, salmon, and pasta. They seem to be forcing you to go to specialty restaurants to get a great meal.The food is still OK, but has for sure lost its WOW

Stupid question but if 1st night on ship I only use one free drink do the other 3 carry over or taken aware?

We are wanting to snokel in Maui and always find our tours on our own. I am having a hard time finding any that leaves late enough for us to get there. Is there any booths on the cruise pier offering snorkeling tours?

We are looking to do a transatlantic through Ireland that ends in Amsterdam. We would like more land time in Ireland and would like to get off ship at last stop there. Does Royal allow you to get off early?

Customs would be my consern as the prior cruise would be required to go through customs and could mess up next group boarding.We are flying in before so air is no problem.

We are due to depart Saturday Afternoon on an transatlantic cruse on the Rhapsody. If no compromise and the government closes,what effect would there possibly be with departures?

Thank you for your feedback. We did get our points given back and that is a great deal. My point is the announcement they made on ship,and on paperwork they sent stated 25% voucher based on cruise fare only. If the cabin next to me paid the same cost of $1200 per person they would get a voucher for $600.00 not $26.00. BOA pays at least some of the rest of the cost to RCCl, based on what fees they charge vendors where my card was used. That is why I feel it is a little messed up!

At least that is what the cover letter called us.We were on the March 23 Navigator that was late then stuck in port due to a oil spill. We did to do a 4 day to Mexico but we're told we would get a free cruise and 25% of of our next cruise to be used in the next year. Not a bad comp to help take care of our expenses incurred,airfare,lodging and vacation used.Here is where it gets ugly to me. We used 125000 Rccl credit card points and upgraded to a balcony room. The booking confirmation shows a cruise fare of $1199.00 per person of which 25% would be just short of $300.00 each. They sent a certificate for $13.00 each and the uppers at Rccl was only going to pay the 25% of what we paid to change cabin type? I may be a little greedy but I saved for years for those points and BOA paid with the money the earned from me to Rccl for the free 7 night cruise. The call to them included a 60 minute hold,then them telling that is the way it is, and they are very sorry. Any ideas or am I wrong in feeling it's not right. Thanks Steve

Just received email from Rccl that they are allowing cruise ships in and expected to be boarded by midnight

Thanks for the help. I gave a call on Monday and they responded that it should have been paid a long time ago. They said they put a email out and boa respond within a day or two. Checked tonight and my reservations shows paid in full.

We cruise in 70 days and used or visa points for free cruise.I booked about 2 months ago and upgraded, and paid our deposit. Any idea when BOA pays there part to clean up my amount due amount. Thanks for any feedback

After many of the cutbacks for Diamond members, we jumped ship and cruised Carnival our last two cruises.RCCL bringing back the Diamond lounge on the newly renovated ships are bringing us back. We are looking forward to sharing a few pre dinner drinks with friends old and new on the Navigator in March. Both company's have there good points, but Sure did miss Royal as entertainment and thing to do seems to be won by RCCL

Looking to try snorkeling there.What is the cost of rental and is the gear good. Thank you or any info.
