I have a cruise booked for March 2018 and wondering when I can begin to purchase shore excursions. This trip includes a stop at Grand Turk and want to snag a cabana poolside as soon as they pop up. :D They go away very quickly.

Currently only available on the Sunshine and Vista.....will also be on the Horizon when she debuts next year.

For those that are not on one of these ships, here is an option. Go to the Specialty Coffee/ Specialty Dessert spot on which ship you are sailing get a non-alcoholic shake , then wander to the casino bar, order a shot and mix it in yourself :D

OK - so what is a scenic OV? Never heard of that one!

scenic OV are typically at the very front of the ship on the Conquest class ships. Category 6J

We are booked one for upcoming Conquest Cruise. Its on Deck 9 just above the Bridge.

I just don't know how my husband is going to keep me away from the food! Lol.

Canival Conquest 3/12/17

We will be on the same cruise. My son (18) and I are doing this trip thru Carnival.

:p:confused::mad:Anyone recently come off the Conquest. Imy a guy who loves to take a sauna, steam them shave and shower in the locker room instead of knocking my elbows against the walls of my room bathroom 50 times . So of course, no one at Carnival HQ could tell me if I would have to pay a fee to do that. I never had to as when you have free access to the fitness center, you al a o have access to the locker rooms where the steam bath, saunas and showers are. Can anyone confirm that use of locker room is complimentary? I sailed with NCL lat trip (couldn't find a carnival for my dates) and I had to pay $45. A day if they had room!.. which was sea days only . They also lied about the price . All I'm asking for is if someone used them or noticed on a recent trip. I know treatment's and thelasotherapy pools cost, I'm looking for a quick steam shower and out ! Thanks I b adcancel if you can help! :(

Last year on Conquest, I just walked in and used both the Sauna and Steam rooms with no issues. Did not ask and did not pay.

Looked at excursions today, just like every morning, to see if anything NEW is offered for each of our ports coming up in March.

Carnival has added a Waterfall excursion.... only lasts 4 hours. Goes to the same place as both of the independent tour ops that are mentioned here go, but it looks like they only do the lower section and that is why it is shorter time.

 

We booked it. Very excited. We did not want to be gone from the port all day, and with this one, we will be back at 1:30pm, so time to hang out at Amber Cove afterwards and shop a little.

 

Just thought I would let everyone know, in case you had been considering...

So i just booked this same excursion thru Carnival.

After booking I went thru and completed the Carnival Shore Excursion 110 % guarantee form using shoreexcursioneer .com as the site with a lower cost. This got me a $55 obc for the two people booked.

This way I get the convenience and security of a Carnival Shore Exc and the back to the boat guarantee for the lower price plus a net gain of $5 for that extra hand of blackjack. :D

we meet at the embarkation day M&G aft bar by the pool. You were having one of those well earned corona's. I loved the price drop on Cheers right before sailing and definitely got my $ worth out of it on this Sailing.

Jamman, I was on this cruise with you. It was my best ever so far. I am leaving on Conquest for a 6 day to Ocho Rios, Amber Cove, Grand Turk on Mar 12. In preperation, i re-read this entire review. Thank You so much for the time and passion you put into this, allowing me and others to enjoy it all over agian. Hope to sail with you again someday.

Have not done Miracle but have done Conquest a few times. Took Paradise (same layout as Miracle) out of Tampa once. One of the cool things with going out of Tampa is going under the Skyway Bridge. I stayed up all night last night of the cruise just to be on deck as we came back in under the bridge. If you choose Miracle either stay up or set a wake up for around 3:30 am its worth watching. Either way, enjoy your cruise. :D

Thank You, I did see where there were 7 ships to be embarking the same day. Just could not find which ones were scheduled for which piers. Allure always uses the same one due to its size I guess.

Can anyone tell me what Pier number at Port Everglades the Conquest is using? We sail on Sunday March 13th. :D

If you work at a bar, can you not stay after your shift for a drink?

If you work at a restaurant can you not eat there with your family?

If you work at a retail store can you not shop there?

 

Whats the difference if they come see a show, or go to a bar or heaven forbid eat on the lido????

Agreed, one of my best nights in club on the legend, my waitstaff had special permission to go to the club and i was able to buy them a drink and hangout. Made it very special for me to be able to thank then in a more personal way than just a tip and a "thank you". But at the end of the cruise we did that too.....

I truly want to thank all of you for volunteering your info. It helps us know what's out there.

Thanks for the review, going on this same itenarary in August. Can't wait to get onboard and explore the Liberty. This will be my 7th Carnival Cruise and 1st on a 2.0 upgraded ship.
