I wanted to give an update on this topic as I was following it also. We are currently on the Summit and they will not honor the $10.00 price for our 12 year old daughter. The offer is only for children 10 and under. They will not come off this at all. 

They did it last year for our daughter. She was within a few months of turning 12. The children in the kids club were way younger than her. We just ask if she could move up and they said yes. We just did the paperwork and they gave her the appropriate wrist band for the teen club.
