I have a couple trivial questions for anyone who has recently been on Elation.
We have an inside cabin on the Main deck.
Wondering if there are hairdryers in these cabins? Also refrigerators?

My husband and I will be on Elation soon and currently have late dining. Normally we prefer a table for 2 - not because we are opposed to meeting new people, but mainly because we like for our meal to progress at our pace and we like to be able to leave whenever we finish our meal - not wait on the entire table to complete their meal. From past experiences...on another cruise line...MTD at a table for 2 was in very close proximity to others and you could still chat with your "neighbors." Now, my question.....should I switch to MTD and request a table for 2, or if we stay with traditional dining is there a way to request a table for 2 prior to arriving at the dining room? Don't mean to sound snobby, because that is not my intention at all, and I would appreciate answers that are relevant to the Elation as I know each ship is different, although the concept is the same. Thanks!

Thinking about booking the All Access Ship Tour on our upcoming cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas. Looking for pros and cons from those of you who have done this tour on Rhapsody. Thanks!

Looking for a recent Cruise Compass for Rhapsody of the Seas out of Tampa. Itinerary - Key West, Cozumel, Belize and Costa Maya. I've checked the RC Blog, but didn't find one. If anyone has one, I would love to see it. Thanks!

Thank you all for the information. Not what I wanted to hear, but good to know! I'll just have to chill my pop in the ice bucket one can at a time!
We just got off Sunshine. Our deck 1 cabin did not have a refrigerator, but the first day we got a bucket of 4 beers from one of the bars. Kept the bucket and our steward kept ice in the regular ice bucket as well as the plastic one we took back to our cabin (It's a lot bigger than the standard ice bucket). We could ice 4 cans at a time in the plastic bucket and kept the other for ice to put in glasses and water bottles.

Is it safe to go out walking/exploring on your own? Looking at the prior posts and map and that looks like an interesting way to explore Nassau.

All my previous cruises have been on Royal Caribbean, so I have a few questions about my upcoming cruise on Carnival Sunshine. Really basic things:
Do the cabins have hair dryers?
Is shampoo/shower gel provided?
Do the cabins have refrigerators?
Are Passport and photo identification all the documents I need (except for the health form, boarding pass, etc. that is printed from Carnival's website.)?
Are the safes operated by keypad or by your room key card?
I have searched the current threads and have found some of this information, but nothing specific to Sunshine.
Please feel free to share anything else you think I might need to know about the ship and/or cabins.
Thanks in advance for the information.

You don't pre-book anything on the Freedom of the Seas, AFAIK.
When we sailed 2 years ago we were able to prebook the Ice Show. I didn't know if that had changed or not.

We are sailing May 1 on Freedom. How far in advance can onboard entertainment be booked online? We sailed 2 years ago on Freedom and was able to book about 90 days out. Thanks!

My passport has my first, middle and last name on it. My driver's license has my first name, maiden name initial, and last name. My cruise documents only have my first and last name. We are sailing RCI to the Western Caribbean. Will this be a problem? Wondered if I should get a separate photo id that has my name to match my passport. Thanks!
