  1. We were on the March 12th sailing of the Escape. It was very sad to be told that we were being canceled but we had an awesome time until this morning. It was pure madness trying to get off the ship and onto a bus going to the airport. We had to get a Covid test which went fine but getting the results were ridiculous. It’s like it was run by 10 year old children. Many families from 1 cabin received their letter of debarkation, however when they got to the gangway they were told a member or members of their cabin were not listed. This included minors and spouses or other family members. It is just my husband and I in our cabin and thankfully we were both ok to proceed. We met a family of 4, husband and wife and 2 small boys. They packed and arrived at gangway 3 times yesterday and once today and were still told they were not leaving. This is totally unacceptable to expect parents to fly w/o their children or even spouse. They wasted to whole day yesterday going back and forth and now it’s starting all over again. This story was VERY common. Several were turned away yesterday at the gangway because the flight was full. They also announced yesterday that people w/o passports could not leave, I assume they are still working on that. We loved the ship and had a great time but organization was a Huge 0 in my book. And they never told us there was damage at all just that we were being canceled.

  2. Congrats and good luck, I hope you can find one that works for you. We have had 3 so far and the 1st two times were a breeze finding something that would work.(The first was from a land casino and we were able to book a 7 day Mediterranean cruise and after using frequent flyer miles and hotel points it was cheaper than a week at the beach. lol) The last one however was in March and it was very difficult to find anything anywhere that was more than 4 days. It's hard to believe they have been backed up since then. We almost passed but then we were able to work out a 6 day on the Splendor in 13 days...with 4 ports including Half Moon Cay. Yippee!! Even though it took a lot of work this time I am not complaining...it's a cruise and we are blessed to be able to go. =)

  3. I've cruised Carnival, Royal & Norwegian. Seven cruises total. Out of those 7, 5 were Carnival. I would not hesitate at all. I'm all about a good deal and thankfully I can alway find one on Carnival. Even tho I have done 4,5 & longer cruises I've never experienced a booze cruise atmosphere or people passed out drunk, even though I've heard horror stories I never worry about it since the ship is big enough to find a peaceful spot elsewhere. We just got off the Dream 2 weeks ago and it was a great cruise. Ship was great & the crew were some of the best we've ever had. If you get the chance to go I hope you have the best time! Happy Anniversary!! =)

  4. We sailed on the Sunshine with the same ports in August of 2015. It was a great cruise for my husband and I. On the way to Orlando we were talking about how sad we were that our 3 sons and their significant others were not able to come with us (like our last cruise) but we ended up meeting a young couple that we hung out with everyday. Still in shock that they wanted to hang out with us old folks. HaHa They actually found out they were pregnant right before the cruise and didn't tell their family because they didn't want them to worry so we were the first people they told. We still keep in touch through Facebook and enjoy seeing the pics of their daughter. It's a great ship with great ports and I'm sure you will have a great time! :)
