Hi fellow cruisers!!

I am cruising out of the port of Miami on the Horizon in November. I am looking at parking while on the cruise. Hotel parking won't work as we are actually staying in Orlando for some pre-cruise vacay days but driving into Miami the day of....but would like to know about parking options for the cruise. Has anyone used alternative parking for the duration of the cruise or only the Carnival parking lot at $22/day? Any recommendations? Thank you!

I am definitely IN! I have 108 days until my cruise and want to lose a minimum of 47 pounds to hit my goal of 180 for vacation time! I hear keto is the way to go for that kind of loss. I have dabbled in low carb but I want to take it to the next level! Starting right now with a weight of 227.

Just keep in mind that while people have had various success with getting reimbursed by insurance companies, that any med bills on the ship must be paid in full before you disembark, whether it’s hundreds or thousands. So just make sure you have access to a high limit credit card just in case.

This is worrisome. I understand needing to be prepared but what if you just don't have it in your budget to pay for something like that upfront if you are in a medical emergency on the ship? Even the insurance doesn't do anything but reimburse what you already had to pay which isn't helpful for someone who may not have thousands to pay up front. Anyone ever run into that problem?
