Big Chicken is excellent. Highly recommend.
Their fries are great also-when fresh especially.

If it is in your budget I would do it.
This is my answer as well. No turning back after a balcony

Had Rudy's on the Celebration a few months back. Based on that experience I would not return. We often do the specialty restaurants and typically feel it's well worth the extra spend. Rudy's not so much. Maybe just a bad day.

Does anyone know how much Carnival charges for a glass (shot) of Blanton’s bourbon or if it’s even available on the ships? We have the Cheers program but want to know if it’s over their $20 max limit TIA!
I had it at Alchemy on the Miracle a few weeks ago. Unsure of exact price but it was covered with Cheers!

What reasonable explanation could there be? Unless you are getting dessert for a dozen or so of your mobility-impaired friends, I certainly can't think of one.
Not defending the act. It would have perturbed me as well.
The post I quoted was the reason for my response more than the topic.

Carnivals gonna Carnival 🗑️ 🤷🏻♀️
This is your contribution to the thread?
Hopefully person mentioned by OP has a reasonable explanation. Not that they owe it to anyone, but maybe there's more to it. As an outsider, it does seem a bit silly to be hoarding these things.

In February we were sent elsewhere as well. We arrived at noon, so who knows what happened to the first people. Anyway, when we got there, the entrance to the garage was blocked off, and we were sent around to a spot where we could drop off passengers and luggage. At the same time we were given directions to the off site parking.
I'm the driver, so I dropped off my hubby and son, and almost all our luggage, then put the address into the phone gps. Took me a little less than 10 minutes to get to the new parking.
Once I got there, I learned the first garage was full and they sent me to a second garage around the block. Second garage was sketchy looking, but my car was there when we got back. 🤷♀️ I had to pay for parking in full when pulling in to park. (It was $20/night x4=$100) (As it turns out, no one was staffing the garage when we got back, which is why we had to pay on entering.)
Anyway, I ended up parking on the top floor, and in this second garage, no elevators, just stairs. (I believe the first garage had an elevator) The directions weren't real great, but a couple of minutes later I found the shuttle (a mini bus) and got myself back to the parking garage, to meet my hubby and son and carry on luggage.
At the end of our cruise, no mini busses, but full size busses. We all went together, with our luggage, back to the garage. As I stated above, our garage wasn't staffed when we got back. I left the luggage with hubby on the ground floor. I climbed up the stairs and drove the car down. We loaded up and drove out the open gate.
Not the worst, but certainly less convenient than being able to park right there.
Thank you

Question….on embarkation does Carnival require you to park at the Long Beach convention center no matter how early one arrives, and what is that process like?
I believe so but I'd be interested in the responses as well. From what I have read, Miracle cruises are not permitted to park at the structure.

Rudy's Seagrill is pay
Steak house is pay
Emeril's is pay
Cucina and Chibang free first time. $8 after first visit
Seafood Shack pay
Everything else is included...unless I forgot something

Another vote for Krazy Lobster. Very fair prices, good food, excellent service. We were two steps from the water at our table. Would definitely return

Correct because the hit and run winner has less hands played or coin through than the person that wins money and cycles it back through

Do you care to elaborate? A loss is a loss, am I missing something? $1000 is $1000
Yeah, I get what you're saying and I don't disagree.
So do people that win not get or deserve comps? I don't know that tracking losses is an exact science.
I'm not certain about anything and I don't know that anyone without first hand knowledge of the workings within can be.
The way I mentioned above is the only way I have ever heard as an explanation that makes sense to me.

From how I understand the comp system in general, the amount you spend or lose is irrelevant. As mentioned, slots are easy to rate with coin in.
From my understanding, we are rated at tables on our average bet. Each game has its own theoretical loss % and number of hands or games per hour and that number is extrapolated over our time played and we are turned into a number based on that.
If you sit down with $1000, play $200 a hand over 20 minutes and lose it all and don't return, you have very little value to a casino.
A $25 a hand player that spends 24 hours playing over a week and ultimately loses $1000 is a more valuable player than the $200 bettor.

Great attitude. Usually they can get these things fixed. I wouldn't be shocked if parts are already on the way to LA. Again, it all depends on what exactly failed. Trust me; Carnival never wants to cancel cruises.
Fingers crossed. We have been on this ship a few times and love it.

We are on in a couple weeks and as long as it sails, life is good. The dates for this work and we just need to get away. If the itinerary gets modified, so be it. Hope we can get off the ship once or twice during the week to explore. No matter where it is.

After overthinking per usual, we are going to go ahead and book the MR itinerary. I’m sure the cool weather will be nothing like the freezing temps back home!
Have done January on Panorama the last two years. As said, mild to cool weather first and last day, warm when you get further south.
This is great time of year for whales down there. We saw a few from the ship this last January, saw a couple from the shore in Cabo and a couple while en route to the Rhythms of the Night tour which was a great time!

Travel bloggers are reporting that AMEX and Chase credit cards are out with new Carnival offers. The AMEX offer is $250 cash back (or 25k Membership Rewards points) on $1,000 in spend. The Chase offer is either 10% or 15% back on a Carnival purchase. Unfortunately, the only offer I received was the Chase 10% back offer, which is about equivalent to the AARP discount on Carnival gift cards.
I have the Chase offer on my debit card but not on my credit card with them. It seems to be random when and where they appear.

Very happy to have taken the obc as well. Got a casino offer that when paired with the obc, we have more spending cash than the cost for our 7 day balcony room on the Panorama.

Is this worth the charge?
As a man with very simple food taste, I'd say it is worth it. After something like 15+ cruises I decided to give it a go on my last cruise on the Horizon and loved it so much I am doing it again on the Panorama in a few months.
By no means am I a foodie but the experience was awesome. The free flowing wine isn't a deterrent either.

How did you get that much? Obviously 600 is from a past cancelled cruise. Maybe 100 from stock, leaving 400?
600 from past cancelled cruise combined with 500 from a casino offer

IMO, the biscuits at breakfast are extremely dry and practically inedible.
