Great info! Thanks for sharing :). If we fly into Seattle morning before our cruise, would it make sense to stay in a hotel near airport for that night? Thinking it would be easy to drop luggage and then use the train into the city. Then use a shuttle service for a ride to pier next morning. Hotels look to be about half the price of staying downtown.

We each had a $40 voucher for food and drinks for the day, drink special was buy 1 get 1, we had burgers for lunch and quite a few drinks, and they gave us 1 for the walk back to ship! I don't think we spent any $$ other than a tip to the bartender when we left. I'm not sure if that was normal, the day was overcast, so they weren't very busy.. but it was great!!:D

We went BCH last September, very short walk from the ship, we loved it! Planning to go again next February. I bought day passes ahead of time and we received drink vouchers at the hotel.

This also means if it is raining and we decide not to go, we're only out $12.

I booked Hilton through resortforaday.com , cost is $60, you pay $12 now and $48 at hotel upon check in, and they will give you a $40 voucher for use on food and drinks

Since we are only in Freeport until 1pm, and tours don't start until 10, we decided to look for something else to do. I imagine you could take a taxi, no idea of cost, . but it has to be less than Carnival excursion!
