Hi we are thinking of booking a Westbound transatlantic fly cruise on QM2, this may seem a silly question but, we are booking a balcony cabin and don’t know whether to have a port side or Starboard side cabin as we do like to spend some time on our balcony and would prefer to have the sun on our balcony. We have cruised a few times to the Caribbean and have seldom had a sunny balcony, although we have always gone in the winter, this time to New York we are going in the summer 😃🛳🗽any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

Having been on Azura & Ventura and really enjoyed having a balcony can someone tell me if the balconies on Britannia are really that much smaller, I have read some really negative reviews of Britannia, although to be honest I really like to judge for myself, as everyone's expectations differ. Personally I just want a comfortable bed and a decent bottle of wine on my balcony!!

Hi Milis my friend is flying from Manchester on 8th Jan and has also been given flight TOM116 is it usual to have two flight numbers the same for different flights? I have looked on the schedule for departures from Manchester in January and can't see any Thomson flights? We are going at the end of January and we're hoping it would be the Dreamliner. I notice n this thread that someone has said there will be no Thomson flights from Manchester!!

Thanks daiB that's very helpful we go on Friday I rang P&O this morning to book an excursion but I was told everything is wait listed now as it's less than 5 days to we sail. I explained that I couldn't get on CP to even confirm wait list so she did it for me. I have been trying since last Friday

I know the same number cabin on A deck is overlooked by the bridge. We have been on Ventura twice so thought we would give Azura a go.
