Hi! Actually, do have one question. We sailed MG back in November and the dinner at Pig and Anchor (sit down) was always included (ate there 2x). Now I am wondering if it has changed like Cucina and ChiBang, where only one dinner onboard during the cruise is included? I love the salmon dinner at P&A.
Have a fantastic Time!!!

The OP is asking for the menus for specific days on a specific ship. For that I wouldn't trust anything other than someone actually doing it from that ship. I can tell you JH was posting menus from Horizon the week I was on Jubilee and the order of the menus was different.
Then the OP would need to wait until actually on the ship for their sailing, as i understand, the order of the menus can change from sailing to sailing for the same ship based on provisions/lack of.................

it's not called a midnight buffet, it's called late night snacks and is same across the fleet. I agree not high caliber food, but a late nite hot dog with soup has hit the spot some late nights for me.

We like it too. Unfortunately, we were told by a bartender last week that it's going away in its current form. They will be removing the brewery and converting it to a Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse/Brewhouse.
Hi, We are going on Vista over Thanksgiving, do you know when the conversion from red frog to pig and anchor is planned?

Costa Maya: Another vote for Jamies Blue Reef
Cozumel: Mr. Sanchos
Belize: Cave tubing, we used Butts up or Ruins excursion (we did thru Carnival because of the length of the excursion.

Happy Columbus day. You realize it's a critics page and everyone here is opinionated?🤦
well, maybe constructive criticism or questions that would instill further information?

That's nice in a Sunday
Well, you are pretty opinionated with your responses. Maybe just stick to your own pet peeves, and don't comment on others because YOU don't agree.

how soon before you cruise do you receive the survey? I've been cruising on casino deals for the past several.

Ten years ago during the TA for the Sunshine, veterans asked the Cruise Director Jamie if they could have a special event for Veterans Day. She agreed and designed that first Military Appreciation for the day, November 11, 2013, and went on to spread the same gathering throughout all the Carnival ships. It took her years due to the resistance for the cruise line higher ups. Finally, all the ships were included. What Jamie started has endured. unchanged, and is wonderful.
There has also been a special Tea Time for veterans with well labeled tables but some ships dont participate unless they are reminded. (Magic for one.)
Last year for Veterans Day NCL announced that starting on January 1, 2023, they would give veterans 10% off the price of every cruise and also the other promotions too. Veterans at NCL had designed a wonderful program for veterans which included a party (free booze) with the captain of the ship and other officers. Veterans left Carnival and RC etc and moved over to NCL. They have been welcomed and treated very well. I know, I'm one of those veterans.
Now the higher ups at Carnival thinks they are forced to enlarge on the attractions for veterans to plug the hole. One way they could immediately help themselves is require much lower deposits for their infrequent military specials. Also it's nice to have a 'Heroes" bar but Carnival benefits from the money those Heroes spend to drink there. Why not a lower price for drinks for those who can show their military ID, VA card etc or who used the military promotion to book the cruise? When I first read of the Heroes lounge, I thought that there would be free or inexpensive drinks but no, it's just another way for Carnival to enlarge their coffers.
Yes! I was not on the first cruise she started this, but our first cruise was with Jamie Dee, CD, on the Dream back in 2014 and it was a held in the piano bar. it was standing room only, packed!! I remember talking to her, and she was trying to get in started on other ships. She really started a lasting, very respected appreciation event.

oh, see also likes that machine with the reels that spin that yells at us: TWO MORE FOR THE BONUS! ONE MORE FOR THE BONUS!
I love those. The last cruise we were on MG over Christmas, they had none of these type slots.

We must know each other or something. Cuz everything you just mentioned (sailing on her this Thanksgiving, MG, all Dream class, etc.) applies to us.
Thats too funny!! We'll definitely have to meet up! 😛

We are sailing on Vista over Thanksgiving for the first time. We have sailed MG, all the Dream class ships, Sunshine, Fantasy.... We have a cove on Deck 2, now I'm second guessing this choice. We had choice of MG and Vista, but Vista cruise is an 8 day with a port stop in St Thomas, which we have never been, so that was why we choose Vista. We are laid back, like casino, and chilled outdoor areas.

When in Nov? We'll be on in Nov as well.
We did the Horizon before, and I'm hoping the Vista's Havana Bar area is just as nice.
Hi, cruising over Thanksgiving, 8 day.

And the gelato!!! Another wonderful area of the Vista that many people miss is the Havana Club (deck 5 aft) - so fun! For lunch, try the Cucina Del Capitano - it's free during lunch and really good. Get in line early - it fills up fast, especially on sea days. Be sure to try out the SkyRide (if it's working - last cruise it was broken). Best to try on port days since lines aren't as long. Have fun - we love the Vista!
Thanks!! didn't know Vista had gelato. Location?
