Just look on the rc website if you are denied boarding at embarkation for failing temperature check you will get a full refund.

The problem with this is that you need to get to the ship with a fever.  So if you fall ill a few days before embarkation, you have to fly to the port and show up with 100.4 fever to get your refund. Now you are potentially  infecting people in your travels, including those in the boarding line.  That can’t go wrong!  S/

  2. We are sailing on the Armonia in a few months.  I'm looking for input on the drink packages.  Has anyone here not purchased it, did you regret it?    If you buy a bottle of Gatorade or two at the port, will they confiscate it?  If we bring Mio or Chrystal light when we board, will they confiscate those?   We don't drink a lot of soda or sugary beverages, usually milk, plain water, or water flavored with lemon or chrystal light.  I don't feel we'll get our moneys worth, especially with only two full sea days.  I understand there is teas, coffees, juices, & filtered water in the buffet.   We are staying in the last suite right below the buffet, so won't have to go far to refill.

Also... I am finding conflicting information.  With Fantastica on the Armonia, do you get anytime dining in Pergola?  I know on other ships you don't, but I have seen it mentioned you do when traveling on Armonia.  Does anyone have reviews about staying towards the aft?  We are in the last balcony room, hopefully it won't be as loud as staying below the pool.  Does the boat sway a lot more back there?

    Thanks all for input.

  3. I didn't see the turtle farm option on native ways. I heard bad reviews about the stingray excursions offered from the cruise lines... that they are crowded and don't get to spend much time with the stingrays, so I wanted to avoid those. I see Pamawi had a different experience though, hmmm. Thanks for the suggestions.

  4. I am traveling with my 5 year old daughter who is not a good swimmer yet so I am not sure if it is a waste to book a tour that includes snorkeling since we will probably stay on the boat. I have only found stingray tours that include snorkeling though. Does anyone have any ideas who to book through or if it will this be a waste of time if I take a snorkel trip? Thanks!

  5. I am staying in Hollywood for two days before my cruise. SAS does not pick up from my hotel. They recommended another service and they charge $70 from my hotel to the POM. Does anyone have any other ideas? It seems the cheapest option would be to take a cab for $19 to the airport then take SAS to the POM. Is that too much of a hassle? Thanks for any input.

  6. Anyone have ideas about what to do with a 6 year old? I was originally thinking Dunns River Falls because I know we can get off and use the stairs if it is too difficult for her, but maybe there is something better suited for her. She is not a strong swimmer yet but does enjoy the water and anything that requires jumping into water is out. Let me know what ideas & experiences anyone has. Thank you!
