Do you need the original prescription bottle for a cruise out of a U.S. port?

Here are menus that I saw on Prof. Cruise website that have only 7 appetizers instead of 11 and more limited dessert choices. Are the ones on Cruise Gear more recent? Anyone whose been on a cruise in the last month able to respond to my question?

Does anyone have some recent menus to share? I have seen the ones that have eliminated the beef options from the daily selections. I also heard that they decreased the number of appetizers and dessert options. Can anyone verify if that is true?

Thank you all for your advise. We already own a pair of binoculars as my husband is an avid bird watcher. We will definitely take them.

We are leaving on a Rhine river cruise from Amsterdam to Basel on June 21st on Avalon Visionary. Our question is should we take binoculars for viewing the Rhine Gorge? Any other suggestions to enhance our cruise experience is appreciated as this is our first river cruise.

Thanks for all your posts. Being from the U.S. I will need an electrical converter right? Will they allow me to use my curling iron and straightener with a converter? I was on an older European cruise ship before where they wouldn't allow them even on board.

We are booked on a Rhine river cruise on the Avalon Visionary in June 2014. Does anyone know what type electrical outlets that are available in the cabins - 110 or 220? Also does anyone know the location of the port where the boat docks in Amsterdam?

Where do they usually serve prime rib? And is it offered on all NCL ships?
