Hey,
Does anyone have a recent (after Corey Henderson joined as CD in May) Fun Times PDFs for the 7-day Mexican Sailing on the Carnival Miracle for Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta?
Would be really helpful planning for my family of 7.
Thanks,
-David

I don't have copies of the Fun Times. But, as I stated I found everything I needed by going through the postings here on CC until I found the one about the Miracle. The guy who posted even had pictures of the food. It was so complete that when I boarded the ship I felt I had been there before.
My kids wanted to do what they wanted to do on sea days. They loved the freedom of moving about and being free from any time schedules. On port days my daughter had them doing some very exciting excursions of which they're still talking about.
It's amazing how much fun they thought it was to be on land or take the tender boat and see the ship in the distance, they took lots of picture of that!
The cabins you've picked are perfect. Lots of room to enjoy your cruise to its fullest. Can I climb into your luggage? I'd do it again, in a heartbeat.
Just be ready for those crowds on sea days. The Lido jams up until 2:00pm so if you're going to have lunch there be prepared to go early or eat late. Every seat was taken and the lines at every station were long during prime lunch time.
If you like to go to the library for a good book, go early when you first board because by the time we got there, there were very few choices left. This goes for the board games as well!
If you like your cut-off jeans and baseball caps......don't plan on wearing them to the dining room. The Matre d' was extremely strict in refusing entrance to anyone wearing the above!
Thanks so much! Well, we are flying to California the week before to drive from San Francisco to LA down HWY 1 so you'd be in this for the long haul haha
Yes, we are all sticklers for the dress code. This is our 9th cruise and I personally love dressing up for dinner, it's a such occasion! Especially formal night. Just adds to the fun.

Thank you so much for your review! Our family of 7 has the Vista Suite & 2 Aft Extended Balconies 4230, 4228, and 4232 (Port side to your Starboard). Really appreciate the comments, we are so excited about these unique rooms and they are rarely reviewed like this so thanks!!!
We had Corey on the Liberty last August and he was just as fun.
Question, would you be able to provide the Fun Times? It helps us with booking stuff like Steakhouse, excursions, etc.

If it was on ships sailing the Caribbean, the Victory would have it! So would the Paradise.
They can only do upgrades to so many ships at once :)
As you've seen, it's a fairly slow rollout. Also, they need space (Paradise)! Victory definitely deserves it, that would be.....Victorious.

Well it certainly has been paying off on their other ships. On the Breeze there was always a line for Guy's burgers. I was hooked on the tacos and sushi for lunch and the breakfast burritos was my go to breakfast.
Yeah :) On the Liberty in August and it was amazing. However, it seems thanks to the limited space on the Spirit class and the different type itineraries associated with different types of cruisers (notice how all of the ships getting Guy's, Blue Iguana, Pool Movie Screen, etc. don't go to California, Alaska, Canada, etc. they're basically all Eastern/Western/Southern Caribbean!).
I think the "clientele" on the Spirit sailings are different enough that they are cautious. Notice how the Pride got all of these and it's now sailing the Caribbean haha. I think once that goes well, it should seep into the other Spirit class ships over time. Apparently the Spirit is next in August?
Idk, I'm just a passenger haha

I was at the Future Cruise Desk on the Carnival Liberty in August waiting to ask about some December cruises.
There was a very unhappy woman describing to the FUTURE CRUISE DESK EMPLOYEE how she hated the design of the ship and the Promenade that goes down deck 5. She advised they completely redesign the whole deck as she hated having to go down the side with a bunch of people by the casino and other areas. She then proceeded to say she hated the ironwork design and general design of the ship and the theatre. It all needs to be changed.
As I was just thinking as I boarded the ship how beautiful the things were that she hates haha
-
Really? What could that mean?
I think they license Guy Fieri's name/brand, Hasbro's, etc. They are probably being cautious to make sure the investment pays off.

I just don't understand why she didn't get the full 2.0 upgrades like the Pride did in their recent dry dock.
Such a shame.
Andy
It seems the Pride was the "test subject" for the Spirit class getting these. If that is worth it, it seems they'll consider in years to come.
I asked why the Miracle didn't get a SeaSide Theater movie screen and he said it was a last minute decision :/
I wish they wouldn't screw over ships of the same class!

This is for those who went on the Miracle this week after its dry dock :)
Would love to hear how the new additions are!
We are going on the Miracle in August, first time in Cali for us!

do the safes on the Liberty use key pads or an old card?
Uses any card with a magnetic strip. We used a random credit card and kept it hidden beside the safe.

I was wondering if anyone had or could get on a near cruise the Carnival Liberty fun times for their 8-day cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Grand Turk?
Trying to plan a vacation for our family of 7 and want to see what all goes on on-board :)

Thank you! You will LOVE Liberty - beautiful décor. I was able to get pictures later in the week of the places that I missed when we were walking through on our Sea Day. The 8 day, isn't that the one that goes to Grand Turk, Aruba and Curacao? I would love to do that one. I noticed some really good itineraries lately. I hope you have a wonderful cruise.
I am loving the color changing chandileers and the theatre is classic Carnival.
That's the Breeze, Liberty does Grand Turk, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and San Juan.
I've never been to Grand Turk, I am wanting to try the brand new helicopter tour.

Wow, I love this review. Going on August 1st on the 8 day southern caribbean and it was great to see the pictures of the ship.
-
I was trying to find info on this too. Anyone have any pictures from when they this did this?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
If you Google "Grand Turk Helicopter Adventure" some come up, plus if you look on the link I have in the OP you can see about a dozen :)
-
This is a new one that can be booked through Carnival's site. I love helicopters and would love to do this. Downside is that it's kind of expensive and a short ride. Anyone here ever been on it and have a review? :)
Thanks!

Does anyone have a recent Carnival Fun Times for the Carnival Sunshine? Helping a friend plan their first cruise and would like to give them an example of what happens on board. Also, Camp Carnival schedules would be a plus :)
Thanks!
