  1. We boarded Freedom today, and I was surprised to see there was still a hole from where the fire was. I also noticed that they were installing the actual scrubber, which if you look closely you can see it attached to the crane, to the right of the hole. I just thought others on here might find it interesting.

For some reason the pictures Aren't uploading. I'll upload them when we get back.

  2. That...and the cause of the fire and the extent of damage. It would be nice to get back on that subject rather than bickering about inappropriate questions.

I agree. Someone mentioned earlier that scrubbers are being installed, and someone had been up there working. I have to agree with them that it seems fire would be unlikely to be up that far if it was in the engine room. I have to wonder if they're right and it had something to do with the installation of the scrubbers. That had to be some HELL fire to melt that steel like that.

  3. Down and to the left of the Crown and Anchor logo, it's looks like a pretty significant portion of the stack housing bulkhead is damaged....it almost looks like it was torn through.

I noticed that to. I'm fairly certain that would have been steel, so that fire MUST have been pretty dang hot and intense to melt it.

  4. Celebrity has posted 2016 Alaska itineraries. Does anyone know when Royal Caribbean will post their 2016 Alaska itineraries?

That's funny, because I was looking for the exact same thing, and came here looking for something. Sure enough, here's your thread! Haha Hopefully we get an answer. =-)

  5. As I said before, since this is still in the toxic waste clean-up stage, I'll bet that the contractor is severely controlling camera access, so that their methods and remediation measures cannot be called to account later.

Could be. I knew we would see something though, sooner or later.
