We are sailing on Journey next October, and when I fortunately read this thread on 10/14, I realized I better give it the old college try and request my shareholder OBC which would be combined with some on-board booking credits (long story). I did notice that it took a few extra days for Linda to process my request, but I attributed that to what must have been a deluge of "beat the deadline" requests, and quite rightly since our sailing is so far away that a lower priority would be entirely justified.
I'm glad to hear that RCL has re-considered and done right by we pax/shareholders.

Looks like you are correct about the earlier incident FL cruiser. But the YouTube link noted above in another post is the same sequence of photos I was trying to get to you.

Try this one - it's a bit spotty at times (traffic?), but it does work....keep trying.

Just as Sailor Jack described it.
You can also Google your way to some other sites with close-up photos of the bow damage.

Not sure what's going on with the links to the sequence of photos. I had the same problem with "no se encuentra" this morning from that link I posted, but one of the other links (from the NCL board I think) worked the first time, then in turn that was noted by someone who was having the same problem.
Perhaps our multiple requests to the ".uy" domain are getting caught up in the graveyard of the Mar del Plata, in between the Grand Vitara and the Chinese toys.
Let's see what I can do.

Many, many thanks for sharing this Jack (and Jill). We await announcement of your next sailing so that we may join in the fun in person.
All - please put in a good word for DW and me, as we soon sail on Infinity (one of the trapped ships) on a similar itinerary (again).
Someone asked about photos of the incident. The following is taken from a post on the main Celebrity board shortly after the incident.

Scroll down to the story about Dream dated December 14 and look for the link within that story to reach the sequence of photos, as it happened.

We are in discussions with Ramses about upcoming custom day tours. They are very prompt with their replies to our questions and seem interested in making our visit as enjoyable as possible. No issues with spam-slotting that I can recall.
