Who is your carrier? I know that Verizon and AT&T offer coverage while at sea, and charge $0.50 per text sent. If you keep texts to a minimum, and your son can keep from texting people at home, this may be the least expensive option.

Are you from Iowa? I was born in Davenport.

Both terms are used. The document itself says "Visa – Tarjeta del Turista" (or at least it did in the past). I haven't seen the current pink model used for arrivals from the US, but I've heard it's identical apart from the color, and the price.

 

If you're purchased it from NCL you will receive it either at check-in or on board. Don't lose it…

How much does it cost?

Very misleading title. It is not a gratuity, is is a daily service charge. NCL has adopted a different way of paying their workers and while part of the DSC is used for that the workers are paid a living salary and do not rely on tips any longer. Any gratuities you leave are over and above their salaries.

In 2000 I sailed on Sky for the Pacific Coastal cruise. I only remember the forward observation deck and Checkers Lounge. I liked both of those places.

I have done this shore excursion with NCL and RCCL post-cruise from thee ship to the airport. There is no enough time in my opinion to see much at the space cen. Hopefully, pre-crise will be better.

I was not aware of HAL's repo policy. I have sailed three times on NCL repo cruises Vancouver to LA and each time I chose my stateroom.

I prefer ship ex, because the ship waited for our delayed snorkeling boat. Also, my sister and her husband went on a fishing sh. ex.,, when they were delayed, the ship waited for them.
