Thanks everyone.  We were debating on switching to Valor over the same timeframe with these being such an old ship and the issues with cheers on day 1 but we will make the best of it.  

Hi all.  We are heading on the carnival fantasy in April with the cheers package.  Do you know what is available off the Alabama bar menu?  How long until the ship clears international waters and the full menu is available?  Thanks for the help

Since we are doing cheers.  Any favorite drinks we must try.

Thanks everyone.  I have a lot to think about.  However I am leaning towards just doing cheers.  I just don’t want to fret about the cost of each drink.  With cheers we may drink a little more but can experiment and enjoy.  Plus we are not doing much in ports this go around so we have 12 hours a day to break even.

Moderate drinkers, did you like it?   We are always on the fence if we can keep up but paying for drinks individually ruins the vacation vibe.  We really only drink mixed drinks and prefer alchemy drinks.

Thanks.  I just noticed recently they adjusted prices at the pool bars by .50 or .75 cents so I wondered if there was a chance alchemu went up too.  Probably only a matter of time.

Does anyone know if u can order off the speciality dinner menu for an 18 month old. She loves good food.

Thanks everyone. We have previously cruises celebrity and enjoyed the food very much. We enjoy high quality food and cook at home 7 nights a week. I think we will try the ultimate Dining package and treat ourselves.

My family and I will be traveling on norwegian dawn this Sunday. Is there a significant difference in food quality between the mdr and speciality restaurants. Also what about service? is teppanaki open on sea days for lunch? Thanks for the info.
