  1. I have been following this since I will be on the Reflection in September. I have managed to ask someone either here or on FB from each sailing. Since June, the passenger count on the Reflection has been anywhere between 60-80%.   I just learned this morning the current sailing has about 2200 passengers, which is about 72%.  These are not official counts, but from passengers on the ship.

  2. Hello!  Has anyone successfully joined a Zoom (or Teams) meeting using the upgraded streaming wi-fi while at sea?  We will be on the Reflection in September (in the Mediterranean)and our friend may need to join a meeting.  It will be our last night, sailing from Naples to Civitavecchia so while we will be at sea, I imagine we may be close enough to the coast that it could help? Could the iLounge possibly provide a better connection?  Thank you.

I don't think that is new, it has been that way for a while, it doesn't apply to all itineraries, just those where the port requires a recent test for those not vaccinated or not up to date.

yes, I may have missed that change when it happened, but I have looking frequently for any updates and hadn't noticed that change until now. I wish they would highlight the changes when they have an update.  It's so hard finding the new change.

    What mid cruise testing?

    Mid-Cruise/Port of Call

Testing varies depending on vaccination status of guest and itinerary. Unvaccinated and/or Vaccinated guests who are not Up to Date* will need to cover any cost for mid-cruise or port-required testing. These tests cost $55 per test, per person. Celebrity will cover the costs for unvaccinated children, who are not eligible to be vaccinated. Please refer to the testing advisory chart for applicable country requirements.

  5. Hello – We have only eaten in the main dining room a few times (with friends who organized it) as we usually enjoy the Specialty dining.  We have an upcoming cruise on the Reflection.  We are traveling with another couple and we may plan to dine in the main dining room a few times.  When booking, Select Anytime Dining was sold out, so we are set for the Traditional Dining.  Can anyone tell me what Traditional dining is like these days?  I did a search but didn’t find anything.  We are a party of 4.  Will we be able to get a table for 4 or do they still have large tables to be shared with others? Do you have to go at 6 or 8:30 or is there flexibility?   Thanks so much!

Your premium drinks are included in the rate that you booked, which is Elevate, so it won't show on the invoice in this section. The line items on the invoice show ELEVOBC 200 which is the OBC you received from the Elevate package.

So you have gratuities, surf (basic) internet, $200 OBC and the premium drink package included.

Thank you, Thank you!!!!  This is exactly what I wanted to hear!

The only thing that looks a bit odd is the Gratuities there is not a Charge line and Save line. What does the line item amounts on the invoice show?

I also don’t see any codes for the drink package. But it does show the Elevate $200 OBC which means that the elevate package should be there with the premium drink package.

Did they send you a copy of the celebrity invoice or just their own invoice?

Looks like I missed one when i copied it....

I do not have an invoice from from Celebrity,  Just their own invoice.  I was hoping one of these would indicate the Premium Drink Package. Do you happen to know what internet codes mean?

  8. Hi – I’m hoping some of the Celebrity experts here might be able to help me.  I am trying to figure out if I have the right perks on my booking and I don’t want to call and be on hold for hours again (not with Celebrity, but the big box company we booked with).  Anyone know?

You can choose arrival times on the app without doing anything else, and then you can go back later and finish.  That's only on the app, though.

    Perfect!  Thank you so much!

Checking on on the app makes it easy to do the photo, upload the vaccine record and passport and  select your boarding time.   We also use the menus for the various dining rooms.

Does anyone have experience checking in a group of 4 (2 cabins) if you don't have a copy of their vaccine cards at the time of check-in?  Can you check-in and upload later or do you need do to have vax cards and photos at the time of check-in?  Thanks!

I'll let you know unless our cruise is cancelled for the TA on Silhouette  on April 8 and the next two cruises after that.    Final payment is on January 8 but hoping the push it back to 60 days like the cruises up until March 31.

This itinerary sounds amazing!  I can't wait to hear about your experience!  We are booked on the Reflection in May (sailing out of Rome) and I am closely following the transatlantic roll call.  I too am hoping they push back the final payment.

There is a difference between the Cruise with Confidence page/tab and the FAQ. On the it states:

You have up to 48 hours before you sail to cancel and receive 100% Future Cruise Credit to use by May 31, 2022 toward any sailing through December 31, 2022, or one year from your original sailing date, whichever is late

I was referring to this line....  These benefits are currently available on reservations made by January 31, 2022 on sailings departing on or before May 31, 2022 (June 30, 2022 for AUS/NZ), excluding reservations for Celebrity Beyond.

Remember Cruise With Confidence is only currently available on sailings through 5/2/2022.   If your sailing is beyond that at this point you will want to cancel prior to final payment.   If you have a NRD then you will take the $100 pp penalty and any remaining FCC will be valid for 1 year after it's issued.   This FCC will not be a CwC FCC and has it's own T&C.

It looks like it has been updated to cover sailing through May.  Or perhaps I am reading this wrong....

What does the current Cruise with Confidence program offer?

Our current Cruise With Confidence program offers guests the ability to cancel their sailing for any reason, within 48 hours of their sailing date, in exchange for a 100% Future Cruise Credit for amounts paid toward their cruise fare; The program also offers our Best Price Guarantee allowing guests to change their price or promotion up to 48 hours before sailing. These benefits are currently available on reservations made by January 31, 2022 on sailings departing on or before May 31, 2022 (June 30, 2022 for AUS/NZ), excluding reservations for Celebrity Beyond. The ability to reschedule or Lift & Shift a booking to the following cruise year at existing rates expired on January 31, 2021 and is no longer available within the Cruise With Confidence program. Guests who would like to reschedule their sailing for another date must do so at prevailing rates.

  14. We are scheduled to begin our cruise on the Uniworld SS Beatrice in Nuremberg on Weds 9/25.  We leave Ohio tomorrow to fly to Prague for our pre-cruise (on our own).  We just received an email tonight from Uniworld that the SS Beatrice will not arrive in Nuremberg by Weds due to low water levels.  We will be shuttled to either Regensburg or Vilshofen from the Nuremberg docking location. Hopefully we can figure out logistics so we can still explore Nuremberg before hopping on a shuttle.   This will be our first river cruise.  We knew the risks, but hoped for the best.

The same one!! Yay!  Do you know if there is a roll call for this cruise? I had looked a few months ago but didn’t see one.  My husband and I along with another couple will be traveling, from South Carolina.

Oh yay!  There is not a roll call.  From what I understand there are very few roll calls since there are so few passengers compared to the regular ocean cruises. I would love to talk with you more.  email me?   kristi dot lell @ gmail dot com.
