  1. We are a group of 15 people (6 adults 9 children – children aged between 10 years to 16 years) arriving by cruise ship into YokohamaPort. We will each have a large suitcase and wish to arrive at Hilton Tokyo Bay as quickly as possible as we plan on visiting Disneyland that same day. Worried that we may get lost catching the trains and loose time. Is it easy to navigate the trains or are we best to arrange a private transfer? My concern with Private transfer is that we don't know exact time we will disembark and clear customs. Welcoming your suggestions please.

  2. It's an 18 night cruise - Departs 10pm on day 1 and arrives 6:30am on last day. Looking at the itinrary it shows 19 nights but one of the nights is the international date line which is just a "rewind the date" day I understand due to the date differences between Hawaii and Australia. RCI acknowledge that the cruise is 18 nights and it's also advertised as 18 nights. My gripe with them is that the advertised prices on the cruise planner work out to be charging for 19 nights. They were adamant that the prices are calculated on 18 nights but said that the $58 advertised price does not apply to our cruise - I can not understand why that price is advertised on my cruise planner if it does not relate to my cruise!

  3. Hi, I have just had a frustrating conversation with RCI regarding the pricing of the drinks packages for a transpacific cruise. The advertised price for the Deluxe package on the cruise planner is $58 AUD per day. When I add the 18% gratuities to this it become $68.44 per day. The cruise is 18 nights but because of the international date line the itinerary shows 19 nights. Based on this my calculations bring the total to $$1231.92 however I have been charged $1302 (which works out to being charged at 19 nights). The supervisor at RCI insisted that the $1302 price is correctly charging based on 18 nights and that the advertised price of $58 is not for our sailing. I am correct to argue it's not charged correctly or are they right????

  4. Thanks….. we would really like to see The Dig and the Pirate Museum. Would love to also do a brief sight seeing tour of the island but given the short time we are at Shore I believe there is not enough time. I can not see any tours that include both these places (definitely not the shore excursions offered by Royal Caribbean). Would it be easy and safe catch a taxi to these places?

  5. Hi we are stopping in Port of Nassau from 7am to 2pm on 18 May 2014 and trying decide on best way to go about shore excursions. We are travelling with 3 children. We were considering doing the cruise organised shore excursion to Atlantis doing either the Discover Atlantis tour (just the Dig) or the Altantis Beach Day tour (the Dig plus the beach). I understand that cruise organised tours are dearer than if you were to do the tour on your own…… my question is that would we be able to do either of these tours on own own easily? Also my husband is interested in visiting the Pirate Museum….. is that any good and would we have time to do The Dig as well as the Museum. THANKS!

  6. We will be in Port at Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas on 20th May 2014 between 10am and 7pm. Travelling on Oasis of the Seas with family (2 adults and 3 children aged 10, 7 and 4). Welcoming your opinions on best shoreline excursion for our family to do. Interested in a mixture of activities including shopping, little history and snorkelling. Thanks

  7. We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) travelling on Oasis of Seas and stopping at Nassau 18th May 2104 being in port from 7am to 2pm. We are wanting to visit The DIG at Atlantis and snorkel at the beach. We need your opinion as to whether to do the Cruise Shore Excursion which covers The Dig and Beach (cost $90 adults and $60 children) or somehow get to Atlantis on our own and pay entry to The Dig and then find a decent beach to snorkel. Not sure how much doing it on own own would cost?? Welcoming all opinions please!
