  1. This tour sounds great! One question..Was it difficuklt getting in and out of the catamaran? My sis has knee problems. Thanks!

I can't really answer that. We took a speedboat and it wasn't. They help you in and out.

  2. We did the speedboat to Saona Island with pro excursions and I can't say enough how much we enjoyed it. Our tour guide was very informative. The view was amazing. We had our own little private section of the island with food and an open bar. The snorkeling at the reefs was gorgeous and the fish come up and eat bread out of your hand. They took some beautiful photos which we purchased. They were very mindful of the time and got us back with plenty of time left to spare. I could go on and on but I won't. I highly recommend booking with them. I definitely will again. ImageUploadedByForums1373328116.744027.jpg.2f8e47d2edb57a38413d14b21f54bd9a.jpg

  3. When are you going? We booked the Riverside for Feb. 2014 for a total of $400.00 for the 2 nights for a room in the old part of the hotel. So expensive. Can you tell me what information did you put in Priceline to get this hotel?I'm so scared that I will end up with a far away hotel. Thanks

And you won't get far away because you choose the area. After reading this board I saw that the downtown hotels are pretty close to port and airport.

We are going July 6-7. I put on downtown Fort Lauderdale and 4 star rating I think. It was either 4 star or 3 1/2. Im sorry. Then I clicked on the express deal, read the description of the hotel room which said vintage decor and googled hotels in Fort Lauderdale with that description and square footage of the room....and the Riverside popped up with that description so I kind of had an idea of what I was getting. Hope this helps.

  6. The Comfort Suites is by fast food (Taco Bell, Pollo Tropical, and Burger King) and CVS, and you can walk a few blocks to the stores and table-service restaurants on SE 17th St. The water taxi is about a mile away.

Thanks. I ended up going on Priceline and got the Riverside Hotel for 59$.
