Hi, we would like to hear from people who bid on a cabin upgrade please. How much over the base rate did you bid and was it worth it?

We are going to be spending a few days in Budapest before our Avalon Envision Danube river cruise in 2 weeks. We want to buy some Palinka alcohol to bring home with us as a souvenir. Will we be able to bring this bottle on board? Can we keep it in our cabin or will they store it until the end of the cruise like they do on ocean cruise ships?

We are booked on the Sapphire Princess for Oct 21 this year and I noticed this week that the 6 cruises on this ship between that date and Nov 28, 2018 have the comment below. I was told by my TA that our cruise has not been cancelled but those sailings are sold out. She said she thought this was a red flag for her but was unable to get any answers from Princess. Can anyone tell me what this means?

fly2cruises: did you find your cabin 12727 was shaded by the structure overhead on deck 14? What is in this structure?

For a better view of the ocean and the aqua theatre, what deck would you recommend for a B1 cabin? We would like one as far aft as possible but this is only available on deck 12. Is the view good or should we go with deck 10 with a cabin 5 away from the most aft cabin????

If anyone has some pictures of the view from these cabins, could you please post them.
