I'm on board the CB right now. The captain has announced that if possible we will be in by 7am. Even if we get in before that they have plans to just let us off at 7am. But it all depends on the Fog, he also said it could be later. They have delivered luggage back to the people, they are treating us like a normal cruise night.

Yes they are serving lunch at the buffets, grill and pizza.

No we are still in our rooms, we went to lunch and our steward came and change sheets and clean bathroom. We are just sitting on our couch watching tv.
-
We have phone service.

I'm on the ship now and the fog has not eased up! We are 3 1/2 to 4 hours away. The captain said the port is closed. It looks like it could be after 5pm before we get back to the port.

When do you sail?

I was asking for my two teenage sons. I have jackets for both but you know how teens can be. I will tell them it's for two nights only and they can just suck it up. I'm with everyone else it looks so nice when every one has a jacket on. Thanks

How do they set up the beds for 3 people in a oceanview room? I would like the Twins to be together, but they don't give me that option.

You need to get the carnival number at the port, last week when the roads was closed do to the ice in Louisiana. A fellow cruiser was driving in from northern Louisiana and as long as she stayed in touch with the ship they waited for her. She got there 30 mins after the ship was supposed to leave, and she was not alone. I'm sure carnival know of the marathon.

Carnival has flight attendants cleaning the cabins now??
Lol, I see what I did there!!!

Just make sure you order it thru the Fun shop and have them deliver it to them. If not the stewardess will pick it up while cleaning the room.

Just wondering if any ships have any people get sick on them, considering that the flu has had a outbreak and now a new strain of the stomach virus is going around. Curious?

I was on the ship for the extra night and we tipped our cabin steward a extra $50 for that night on top of the $70 we gave him on Sunday!! That's not including his automatic gratuities.
