1. I had not heard of them either until a review of the breeze a year or so back!

Never sailed on a ship with them but they seem popular and a good bargain. They are also metres away from 'secret decks' where hardly anyone goes and you have a pseudo balcony.

It is an inside on paper but its actual quality is an ocean view. We booked one on a high deck to be close to everything as it was the same price as a lower deck. You can even book one on the Lido!

Here is a picture that helped me book and some others (including that secret deck). They are from dream class so will be very very similar to the Vista.

It seems some corner ones are bigger so we booked one of those.

Be careful booking the corner rooms. They appear larger but are geared for handicapped passengers. I saw one of these on Carnival Conquest. One of our roll call members had one. The bathroom was very large which took away from the size of the living area. The bathroom was large in order the accommodate wheel chairs. They were very disappointed in the size of the living area of their room. The other rooms with walkway views actually had more living area space than the corner rooms. So make sure if you book a corner walkway view room that it is not designated for handicapped guests.

2. Will be on the Freedom on May 18th (6 nite cruise) wish it were for 8 nites as my prior Freedom cruises were. Couldn't go wrong with the price of this cruise, only $475.00 for single occupancy for a cabin with 2 porthole windows. Just for some particular cruises Carnival allowed solo occupancy rates. Was very surprised when it was time to make final payment and was told I didn't owe anything and since I already had a $500.00 deposit I was refunded $25.00.

On my prior 8 day cruises on The Freedom the 8 day rate was cheaper than they are now. Back then we went to Costa Rica and Limon,Panama. My agent told me the Aruba itineraries are more expensive. I once spent 3 nites in Aruba and loved it. I would not want to go to Aruba and only spend less than a day there. Too bad a port stop in Aruba couldn't be for at least2 days even if it mean't giving up one other port. If that were the case I would be willing to pay more for the cruise even more than I used to pay for their other 8 day cruises.

Even so I am looking forward to my 6 day cruise in May and my 7 nite cruise on the Glory in November. I have been on 26 Carnival cruises since 1987 and have loved every one of them.

3. Favorite: The one I get the cheapest rate for.

Least: The one that I get the highest rate for.

That said as a Diamond member (26 cruises since 1987) I have not been disappointed in any of my cruises. I am always sad when the cruise is over.

Carnival ships I have been on: Celebration,Holiday,Jubilee,Paradise,Spirit,Destiny,Triumph,Victory,Glory,Freedom, Liberty and Conqest. More than once on some of them.

4. I posted a reply 2 days ago on one of your posts (we struck Gold on the Fascination) and now I can't refind that post.
I loved all those pictures you posted there. I copied most of those fotos on my IPad. I will be on the Fascination on May 10th. I live in Gainesville,Fl. For the last 5 and a half years. I am not familiar with Jacksonville even though I live only 60 miles away. I don't drive(never have) even though I am in my 60's.
Will be staying one nite before the cruise at the Hyatt.
After my next cruise in Nov. out of San Juan, PR on the Carnival Conquest I will be a Carnival diamond member.

I am not too good on my IPad so will probably have trouble finding this site again on cruise critic. If you reply to me, which I hope you will, it would probablybe best to use my email which is e.lewey@me.com
Thanks
