Don't do it! I would never book a guarantee room on Vista, either, because I have a strong suspicion the rooms around the IMAX theater are what they assign. I mistakenly booked 10280 and it was awful! Loud bass and booming vibrations when movies are played...and they start a movie around 11pm every night. I learned my lesson the hard way!!

we are book on the Vista and our cabins are near the Imax theater ,does anyone have an opinion as to the noise level given off b y the theater when running and what thier operation times are????

Does anyone know the main theater show times.. and is there a show every night and do you need to make reservations for each night.?

Also we can only get 7;45 pm dinner reservation does that mean we have to rush through dinner to make the show?

We just returned from our third trip with Aldo. You can't do better than him in the Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi area. Good prices, beautiful English, charming gentleman that brings the area to life. We would never go with anyone else after touring with Aldo. Book early because he is good.

I just book QOS june 30th and made all dinner and show reservations. 1 agent said no,but i needed to call back and that agent booked me for Mama Mia,and 4 shows ,

I see here that people are making entertainment reservations. On my cruise planner it says I can not, but others are. When I called RCI they told me you CAN NOT make reservations for entertainment on the Qauntum, you can only do that on the Oasis and the Allure. I told them people on cruise critic said they were making them on line for the Quantum. She said, and I qoute "people lie".

I called back 2 more times, and both agents said that you can not make entertainment reservations for the Quantum on line.

 

Can someone who made reservations, please help me with this??:confused::confused:

Don't worry - we've been in 9192, 8185 and deck 7 also. Love the aft cabins. We never had problems with trash and, as said, the music from above was great. It's a great location and you'll love it, especially if you like some sun and a lot more shade.

What about engine noise when you are docking or at sea????

I agree with the others, if same day as the cruise I'd use the cruiseline transfer. Otherwise if coming in a day or two early National Express bus is a great way to go.

We used a private van service Gatwick to Southhmapton... for 4 people and baggage it was 150 pounds . and used a private van service in Citivecchio,,to fly back from Rome.. For the 4 of us it was 150 Euro's .. Much cheaper then Princess's transfers..

Hi Mike, another question. Is there a laundry on the Gemini? We will probably have to do at least 1 load of washing as we will be in Singapore for a few days before embarking. Cheers Gayle
