Hi, solo cruiser from New York on the August 16, 2015 sailing of the Sunshine. Anyone else?

Anyone else besides just two of us going on this cruise?

Oh the horror..you're losing a free drink coupon that could only be used on Sea Days in the main dinning room... yep Carnival is going to hell, cheaping out, those on a tight budget will go broke..

1. The coupon was to restrictive to begin with.

2. Carnival isn't cheaping out, they are now incurring the expense by putting the bottle of water in your stateroom for all RED and GOLD VIFPs vs. taking the chance you'd use the coupon. In the end it probably washes out for them in terms of cost.

3. If you're bitching about being on a tight budget and somehow getting one free drink is going make or break your cruise perhaps you should get your priorities straight to begin with.

If you're a Gold VIFP you can get more then your share of free drinks at the VIFP party. So have an extra glass to make up for this tragic loss and stop complaining...

Indianapolis here. I'll be sailing on 3/15 as well! One gay guy among 5 straight women, LOL. Really looking forward to this cruise, as I've never been to any of the ports before.

It's a great cruise! Islands are amazing! Hopefully there's more family on board. There's also an official roll call in the normal roll call threads. Lots of activity!!

Hi all, just booked the Carnival Valor for August 17th 2014, any other GLBT family on this cruise? Solo cruiser here.

I live on Long Island, love taking cruisers. Heading out on the Miracle next month solo. Looking at another cruise for the fall.

Solo cruiser here!! My next cruise is next month on the Carnival Miracle. I love cruising solo. I get to do what I want when I want and how I want! I could careless what others on the ship think, they are missing out ;)

The last Carnival Cruise I went on the LGBT gathering was great, decent amount of gay guys who I hung out with for the entire cruise. I think its really hit or miss. I'm on the Miracle next month and we'll see what the gathering brings. So far the ship is rather empty, ton of cabins still up for grabs. That alone tells me I shouldn't have high expectations on meeting others. Honestly I don't care, its not why I'm going, it would just be a plus.

I've gone solo on Carnival this past July and I'm going solo again next month. It was fantastic! Each night I would start out at the same bar and meet a ton of great people. There were a few other solo travelers who I meet as well. I've never done NCL but a friend has done it solo and he enjoyed it very much. I've always enjoyed Carnival and this will be my 7th cruise with them.

Great Tips! I'll be PV next month on a cruise and I was debating what to do after my excursion, may have to check out Blue Chairs!

Hi everyone, solo traveler here, 37M, next cruise is on the Carnival Victory on July 18th.
