Going on the Valor in a few weeks (May 25).  This will be our second time on the Valor and our third time on a Conquest class ship (Glory).  Looking for tips, tricks or any secrets for us to explore on sea days.

Sailing on the Valor May 25th...have Steakhouse reservations for the first night.  I see that one of the appetizers for the first night in the MDR is calamari. Would I be able to order calamari as an appetizer in the MDR on another night?

I made a purchase for our upcoming cruise for the end of May from the online gift shop.  I can see the item on my Booking and Order Details.  I have noticed that the specific item I purchased is no longer available in the online store.  Is it safe to assume that since I haven't received a message saying the item is no longer available that it will still be in my cabin when I get onboard?

I like the Quick Fix at Alchemy.  next cruise I am going to ask for a Quick Fix but instead of Absinthe substitute it for Limoncello.  What do you think?

I grab a couple of mugs and it’s enough for two large cups or three small cups. We also use it to get ice for the room. I noticed in the online gift shop you can order a Summer Sip Set which includes a 20 oz water bottle, a 24 oz coffee mug and a 16 oz wine tumbler.  All are double walled insulated to keep everything col or hot.  Has anyone gotten these before?  Are they worth it?

Question, traveling this coming summer with two teens (14 and 15), Ive heard of the teen clubs Fuel and The Living Room and they look like fun.  Ive heard and have seen references to "bars" in these areas serving mocktails to the teens.  Question:  Are these mocktails included in the cruise fare or do you need to add on a drink package like the classic drink package or the refreshment package??  Also if they are not covered by one of these packages and they are not complimentary what do they cost??  Thanks

Printed FunTimes were available everyday from Guest Services and from the Coffee Bar.  I was on the 3/3 Valor sailing as well.

If you are a Louisiana resident download the LA Wallet app, you can have your Covid vaccination status shown on the app.  I just got off Valor and that is what we used.

The extra bottles you can buy at 50% off are for consumption in the steakhouse only.  If you plan on going to the steakhouse later in the cruise, you can buy the wine for those dinners for 50% off the first night.

Yes they did offer the 50% off the better wines.  We got the free bottle and were happy with it.

We just got back from the Valor.  During embarkation i used my passport card and they took a picture of me when i registered.  Funny thing is that when we went thru security (metal detectors) I had to go to security and show them my passport card again - my photo didnt match when my boarding pass was scanned at the metal detector.  I have a goatee now and my passport card photo was taken before I had a goatee.

Just got off the Valor Monday and visited the steakhouse our first night and loved it!!!  We (only two of us) took advantage of the free bottle of wine (who wouldn't) but I have a question, What if you have a larger group going to the steakhouse on the first night?  Is it only one free bottle per table or does it depend on how many people are at the table?  2 people - 1 free bottle, 4 people - 2 free bottles, etc.?  If I purchase the steakhouse for everyone in my group (8 of us), would each couple get a free bottle or is it just one free bottle per steakhouse reservation?
