  1. We just got back from a visit.....it was a fun day but I am not sure I would pay $99pp to visit. The flamingos were fun but the people watching was even more entertaining. People were trying to do full on photo shoot with the flamingos with outfit changes, etc. I started to feel bad for the flamingos. Some people were respectful of them and others weren't.

Kristinp36 how was your experience getting to the resort and getting a day pass?

  2. How cheap can you be, this is insurance fraud if you file a claim. No wonder America has such a screwed up insurance and liability system. You fraudulently file a claim and ultimately it's the rest of us that end up paying for it!

    Cruisegoer and elliair,

I am sorry that you felt that I was cheap and fraudulently filing a claim. I was not lying about anything (had filled nothing out)

I was simply a question for advice since I had never had the experience that I had on the ship and because I had never dealt with an insurance claim before.

The members of this forum are usually very helpful and because of that I felt that I would get answers that could assist me.

You will be happy to know that I am not costing you any money since I didn't file a claim!

But I am having roast pork for dinner tomorrow night. Thanks for the recipe!

  3. DH and I were both able to use the 50 percent off discount. We were booking a b2b and we simply chose the more expensive week to use the discount on. We also did our booking onboard and were able to get the $100 onboard credit for both cruises. Sometimes life is sweet.

That's great! There is hope for me!

  4. I have called Carnival concerning this and have not gotten an answer yet. The representative told me that she would call me back within 48 hours and let me know.

So...for those of you who have re-booked using the 50% off...was everyone in the cabin able to use the 50% off or was it one person per cabin (per booking)?

I am wanting to do a suite next time and the 50% off would work great for me and my daughter who was my cabin mate on the original cruise.

    TIA

  5. Hi everyone! I need answers pretty quick. My sister and her family are cruising September 6 on the Allure of the Seas out of Barcelona. She asked me if she could buy a case of water to take on the ship. I told her that I was unsure but that "my community" would let me know pretty darn quick! I looked on the RC website but I couldn't find prices for the water package.

Does anyone know the price of the water package?

Is there a way around the water package?

Can she take a case of water on board?

If so, do she have to check it with the luggage?

    Thanks in Advance!
