  1. $19 a glass for these wines is outrages. In Texas these bottles retail (liquor/wine store) for $18. On premise accounts (restaurants and bars) in Texas pay around $12-$14. It is common practice in restaurants to charge the bottle cost for a glass of wine. $12-$14 a glass. With Celebrity/RCCL and SilverSeas buying power, they may even get a better price than the $12-$14 a bottle.

We have used the Leonardo Express train directly into Termini station. Plenty of room for luggage. Cost is 14 euro pp.

The name is Cachitas, it is about one block from our hotel. There is also an excellent tapas restaurant going in the other direction, Ciudad Contal, but be prepared to wait for a table.

Today we slept in, had another excellent breakfast (drat, forgot to take photos again!), walked a bit, and then lounged by the rooftop pool. We have an evening tour scheduled for tonight.

Some more photos of the hotel:

Enjoying your review. We sail on Edge next April on a Transatlantic that will stop in Barcelona. Love Barcelona, such a beautiful  city with great food and art. We ate at Ciudad Condal last November and I highly recommend it. But as Kteacher mentioned, be prepared to wait. We waited about 20 minutes, not too bad. It was worth the wait. I would also recommend a visit to LaBoqueria market on Las Ramblas. Unbelievable market that also has small restaurants that serve great tapas.

  3. Update on the 4 perks. I emailed Celebrity attaching the screenshot and explaining my situation. A Celebrity One Touch agent contacted me and informed me that she would be researching my issue. The agent just called to tell me that they did make a mistake, however, they would honor the deal. For some reason they gave the perks for gratuities, internet and obc, but instead of adding the premium beverage as a perk they added $2400 in obc which is fine with me.

Needless to say, I am very impressed how Celebrity handled the situation.

  4. Yes I know X has excluded in the past, so when I saw that the TA on the Edge April 2020 had 4 perks I booked it ($25 deposit!). I took a screen shot of the cruise I booked.  Later that day I looked again and saw that the only perk was $100 OBC. Emailed my Celebrity Vacation Planner, she checked with her supervisor and said there was nothing they could do. Has anyone had a similar experience? Did you have any success with X honoring what was booked? Any recommendations?
