How did it go? Any issues with only 1 purchased per cabin?

There were a separate seating area for Premium Access when we arrived at the terminal past the security checks. My family was the only ones in there, and we were first onboard the ship when they started boarding from the general area. I assume the suite guests were let onboard at the same time, but felt like we had the ship to ourselves in the beginning. Arrived at the terminal at 10:45, and were onboard the ship before 11. No questions asked about being the only one with Premium Access.

Didn’t try for the lunch, as the menu seems lackluster, and we preferred to be at the pool almost alone.

I realise you’re probably busy packing for your cruise, or perhaps already on your way, but I was wondering if you got any feedback from the Celebrity rep?
If you get a chance tomorrow could you take photos of the premium access signed at the terminal please? Thanks and enjoy your cruise 😊

Packard ages ago, arrived in Fort Lauderdale yesterday😄

The Celebrity rep had told my TA they would of course not let my wife and 2 young children hang around at the port for 2 hours, so we would all be able to enjoy early embarkation.

Going in at 11 am tomorrow, we’ll see what happens.

I'll be in the Retreat so it seems the only useful thing to me is the welcome lunch.  I wish Luminae did lunch on the first day.  What was the price for this?  The FAQ doesn't say.  It would be a nice perk next time I'm in Aqua.

I paid about USD35 per day, so 350 for our 10 night cruise.

Doubt they would still run as low, doesn't make sense to sell them for less than the Wifi alone.

I am in the same boat - only booked 1 as it gave premium WiFi for 2 devices. Not sailing until end of May.

i noticed in the newly published FAQ that all travellers in the same cabin are meant to purchase the pass, but, when I purchased, it was permitted for 1 person only.
I suspect Celebrity have realised their mistake and have tightened up on it now.

Please report back after your sailing. 😊

You will probably hear the screams of my wife if I am allowed onboard early, and she is denied 😛

Yeah, we paid less for the Premium Access than Premium Wifi, and now we at least get complimentary room service on top of that, so looks to be a great deal regardless of whether we can utilize the other benefits or not.

  5. I have one for my Feb 12 Silhouette sailing, but initially booked one only for myself to replace my WiFi-reservation. Came back as I considered to add it for my wife and kids too, but was sold out by then.

Any idea what happens if we show up early with only one of us having Xpass/Premium Access?

  6. Hi there community,

We booked a Feb sailing back in July, but since our booking, the prices of the classic beverage package has never dipped below ~93USD (~110 USD for premium).

I know there has been a lot of discounts for people in the US and other regions, but as we are based in Norway, the same discounts haven't applied for us.

We ended up buying a reasonably priced NA beverage package for about 30$ pp per day, but I wonder if anyone has been able to upgrade this to an alcoholic beverage package onboard for a reasonable price? When on board I find that the displayed prices are applicable for all guests regardless of their home region, so perhaps we can get a better price on the ship?

  7. We are on Silhouette in feb, which only has 7 hours in Antigua 10 am until 5 pm.

Would this be sufficient to do a combination of Stingray City and Laviscount island? Our kids really wants to meet both the stingrays and the turtles.

Does anyone know of any reputable tour operators that does the combination of the two, and that caters to cruise tourists?

  8. So, I booked the Celebrity Pass just for me in the short window it was available for our Feb 12 Silhouette sailing, as it came out cheaper than 2 sets of wi-fi.

Seems weird to me that it is bookable for just one person in a stateroom, but travelling with a family of four that includes two small children, it was just not worth it to get it for all of us, and I found a pamphlet (and my TA confirmed) that it includes 2 premium wi-fi, not just upgrades. I doubt I will get to use the welcome lunch, earlier check-in and reserved theatre seating, as I am the only one in my group with the pass.

While I know that the Celebrity Pass only became a thing fleet wide on sailings departing after Jan 1, it has been up and running on Equinox for a month (?), so I was wondering if anyone here has any experiences with it yet?

Especially interested if you did not have basic wi-fi to begin with, but any experiences with the pass is appreciated.

The original move up bid offer had a minimum bid of £950 pp. We didn’t bid at the stage but we then received the 50% off promotion which had minimum bids starting from £475. We bid £530 and that was a weak bid. I think much depends on your starting position and what you are bidding from.

Thank you for a swift reply, very helpful! Hope to see you @ Luminae 🙂
