  1. During our 2013 visit, we visited the Bermuda Perfumery in St. George and bought bottles of cologne and cologne samplers (for both my boyfriend and me) and scented bars of soap (as gifts for friends and family). The sales clerk advised that if we wanted to buy more, one of the shops in the Dockyard carries their products. We didn't make it to the Dockyard but did find their products in one of the shops on Front St. (the main waterfront shopping street) in Hamilton.

  2. We were on the Reflection for last year's Thanksgiving sailing. We had wanted to purchase the specialty dinner package with OBC so we waited until we were onboard. I just looked up our flight which landed at the Fort Lauderdale airport at ~11am so we probably had checked in around noon to 1pm. Since our room wasn't ready yet, we went straight to the buffet. We saw the staff selling the dinner packages and stopped by. We had wanted reservations between 7pm and 8pm but were okay with times we were able to get. I didn't check the available timeslots ahead of time though. I had taken a photo of the reservation times with my phone for easy retrieval during the cruise. Here are the times we had booked.

Lawn Club Grill - Sunday at 7:30pm

    Qsine - Tuesday at 8:30pm

    Murano - Thursday at 6pm

Tuscan Grille - Friday at 6:30pm

  3. Hi Maria,

    You are so welcome!

I just want to clarify that I had missed that you had mentioned you are going to be on the Epic until I read asubaru's post about loungers on the aft deck. I was on the 8/1 sailing on the Getaway (which has the spa forward) which is why being in the hydrotherapy pool while sailing into Nassau was awesome. But the spas are operated by the same company so it should all work the same.

I just looked up November cruises on Epic and think your cruise will be amazing. Hope you have a wonderful time!

Thanks Josiane. I'm getting more and more excited but need to wait another three months unfortunately :(

  4. Since the spa doesn't provide any footwear, you have to provide your own. No one checks the footwear you are wearing. You can wear your own flip flops though I didn't pay extra attention to anyone's footwear except that a few people did walk around barefoot. We wore our outdoor sandals we had worn during the port stops.

There isn't any limit to how much time you can spend in the spa either. You can stay in there as long as you want. Saw people reading during our visits. There is a beverage station with hot water, a tea bag selection, dispensers for spa water, etc... Really cool view when the ship sailed into Nassau.

  5. I didn't tell my cruise agent or the cruiseline that my birthday was during our 8/1 cruise, but there was a little birthday cupcake delivered to our stateroom on my birthday. It wasn't until the next day that I had noticed there was a voucher to take to one of the restaurants. I think it was either delivered the night before my birthday or the day of. I didn't mind since we had so many desserts on our cruise.

My birthday is the day we sail, 10/4. Does the ship provide anything for free such as a small cake or does everything have to be paid for? I thought I saw something about a passenger getting a voucher to bring to one of the restaurants and they got a small little cake for maybe 2 people?! It's only me and my 9 year old going on the cruise so I know she can't order a cake for me and I know if I order a cake we both wont finish it. They look huge!

  6.

Please let me know what shows they have in between Burn the floor and Legally Blonde - We did the Getaway last year and went to both, but wonder what shows that have in the main theatre inbetween thosse

Since Burn the Floor is on Days 2 & 3 and Legally Blonde is on Days 5 & 6, Day 4 is the only day available for another show. For our 8/1 cruise, it was the Levity Stand Up Comedy Show. It was the first time we had a chance to catch their acts, and we enjoyed them. So much so that we went to their shows the next two nights in Headliners. Though it may change since it's been two weeks since our cruise, here is a day by day listing of what's in the theater in the evenings:

Day 1 - Welcome Aboard Show

Day 2 - Burn the Floor

Day 3 - Burn the Floor

Day 4 - Levity Stand Up Comedy Show

    Day 5 - Legally Blonde

    Day 6 - Legally Blonde

Day 7 - Getaway Family Farewell Show
