mmower Posted May 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Hi! I am a newbie to the board so this may have been covered in the past, but does anyone have the Paradise Point Cafe, St Thomas, recipe for a frozen drink called a "Bushwacker"? We enjoyed them immensely!! Thanks

Carol Anne Posted June 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2004 Hi, We make them at home. Kalaua sells the mix. You justadd the ice in the blender and top with whip cream. They taste exactly like they do at Paradise Point on St. Thomas!! TinaLee Posted June 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2004 Me again! Found a different recipe on Webtender for a Bushwacker, from a girl who used to tend bar on St. Thomas, so maybe this is closer to what you had at Paradise Point Cafe... twinkletoes4445 Posted February 17, 2007 #9 Share Posted February 17, 2007 This is worth bringing back to the top of the threads. We had a Bushwacker while we were in St. Thomas, and it was yummy. Thanks for the recipes! I did a google search for this drink and up poped my favorite site...CC!
Sandytoes Posted April 16, 2007 #10 Share Posted April 16, 2007 Wow! I was in the mood for a Caribbean drink... Something to brighten up our dark-n-dreary day. Searched the web and sure enough here it is... Bushwacker from St Thomas. I also found a different recipe (pasting it here so I can remember - have to get the supplies liquor first ;) ) mostly Baileys Irish Cream healthy splash Amaretto healthy splash Kahlua small splash Vodka small splash Grand Marnier sprinkling Nutmeg lots Ice Fill blender 3/4 with ice (small cubes best). Add a small splash of vodka, a small splash of Grand Marnier. Add a healthy serving of kahlua and a little less healthy splash of amarreto. Fill the blender with Bailey's until liquid is 1/2 inch from top of icecubes. Mix until smooth. Pour in hurricane glass and sprinkle some nutmeg on top! DreaminginFlorida Posted April 17, 2007 #12 Share Posted April 17, 2007 Hi! We thoroughly enjoyed our "Bushwacker" at the 19th Hole on Main St. in St. Thomas. Harriett and Gene graciously gave us a printout of their recipe. AS follows: Slash of Vodka Splash of White rum Splashof Amaretta Splash of Rum cream Splash of Kahlua Healthy splash of Dark creme de Cocoa Splash of Frangelico Splash of Coco Lopez Creme of Coconut Put all ingredients in a blender with ice. Top off with ground nutmeg. Needless to say it really packed a punch!! If you should stop at the 19th Hole they will also give you an identical copy. Cheers!:D

We were in St. Thomas a few weeks ago, and I wish we would have purchased the liqour there or on the ship...it is so much more expensive here!! :(
