Question about digital photos

Someone on the board mentioned that you could take your digital camera memory card to the photo shop and have them burn a cd for you. My understanding was that you could stop by whenever your card was filling up and they would store your pictures on their server. Then at week's end, they burnt the disk for you with all your stored pictures.

Can anyone confirm if I have this right and what the cost is on Navigator?

I think it was around $15.00 to burn a CD. But memory cards are so cheap now, you are probably better off just buying a spare or two.

I thought they just burned the pictures immediately to CD. I would definitely want to see the pictures on the CD before I reformatted a memory card!

I keep seeing people throw out the $15 amount but on Rhapsody I swear I saw a price list by size of memory card and 128MB was $49.95. :eek: It was less for smaller and more for larger. I only remember the 128MB price because that's the size I generally use.

We just got off the radiance and the cost is 14.95. They burn it to CD right away. So if you have it done twice you have to pay 14.95 each time.
