eileen108 Posted August 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Did anyone go on the Belize Foodie Tour through Carnival and if so, can you share some pics? My sister is a foodie and signed up for it and is excited about it! We're cruising to Belize in mid October 2017.
MissyMac13 Posted August 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) This was a really good tour! First, they take you to a coffee shop (no coffee served) but you are introduced to the staples of food eaten in Belize. Next, you stop at a fruit market and sample whatever fruit you would like. You are then taken to an outdoor restaurant where all the fixings for ceviche are on the table. You make your own ceviche and the last photo is the finished product. MissyMac13 Posted August 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) You have the option of ordering food from the restaurant menu and pictured is the bean and rice plate with chicken. You also get to taste two different types of rum and finish it off with rum punch. On the way to all of these stops, you get a tour of the city and a final stop at the Belize sign. My recommendations? Do not eat before this tour. You will get plenty of food to eat! Take cash if you want to order something from the restaurant. They also served drinks and those (with the exception of the rum punch and rum shot) cost extra and they don't take credit cards. I took this tour last week while cruising on Dream. I highly recommend it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Edited August 11, 2017 by MissyMac13

eileen108 Posted August 11, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted August 11, 2017 My sister wanted to know if you remember the name of the 'outdoor restaurant' where you made the ceviche? Also, if they take American cash at that place?
