Louis cruise - Calypso to St Petersburg

Hi

We're travelling on the Calypso on 5 September on their Baltic Cities and St Petersburg cruise. Has anyone done this cruise previously? We've hit a snag with the cruise arranged excursions as both the excursion to the Hermitage and to Peterhof are arranged for the same day. I understand it's possible to arrange excursions using authorised companies in St Petersburg like Denrus or Red October. Has anyone tried this - I gather the cruise companies aren't usually too keen, for obvious reasons, but it seems a great pity to visit St Petersburg and have to miss one of the apparent highlights!
