csunshine860 Posted February 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Does anyone know which ships have the serenity deck? We are thinking of cruising on the Legend out of TPA - does it have such a deck? We really enjoyed the one on the Glory this past December..... Thanks

Thanks Yes, the Legend got a Serenity addition while in dry dock. Haven't seen photos yet since this is her first week sailing after the addition. Pollensalta Posted February 22, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Those pictures are beautiful. An area like that on the boat, and NO kids ruining it? Just amazing. :D
FallingSilver02 Posted February 22, 2011 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Those pics are AMAZING Magnolia - thanks for sharing! Can't wait to curl up in one of those little clam shells on the Glory in a few months!! :) Does anyone happen to know if there is a small pool as well on the serenity deck on the Glory? I've only heard about hot tubs so far... Thanks!

Half Pint Posted February 22, 2011 #10 Share Posted February 22, 2011 The Valor has a serenity deck now, also. But just like everything else, some people still believe the "no kids" rule doesn't apply to them.

DaDivaMom Posted February 23, 2011 #12 Share Posted February 23, 2011 To my knowledge the Legend is the only Serenity area to contain the a pool area. If someone brings a child in the area while I'm there a Carnival employee will be notified PRONTO!
Shelbyjane56 Posted February 23, 2011 #13 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Dont forget, there will be chair hogs, on the dream we went out to the Serenity area around 7am and withing a few mins after we got there they were setting up chairhogs, not to be used until around noon, needless to say some people just removed the chairhogs towel :)
msweezie Posted February 23, 2011 #14 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Does the Liberty have the serenity deck? OMG, those pictures and chairs are amazing!!!
wilfros Posted February 23, 2011 #15 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Just off Pride 2 weeks ago. They have the serenity deck but it was too cold most of the cruise to use it. On the days when it was warm they then had trouble finding the cushions but NONE THE LESS it was a great area. Here are some 3D photos of the area. All you need to do is sightly begin to cross your eyes and the 3D effect should take place, if not then you have 2 side by side photos (lol). Any time we were there we had a good time, but I must admit Camp Carnival was so good we hardly ever noticed the children on board. KUDOS to Carnival for the Kids Programs, those councilors deserve medals.
