Harbor Lights....and we saw turtles

Spent the day at Harbor Lights- $15 gets you two beach chairs and an umbrella....it's free if you dont want those. Great little bar with cold drinks and hot food.

The best part was we swam about 100 yards off shore to where the snorkel excursions were anchoring and swam with a half dozen turtles! Another 50 yards gets you to the wreck.

One guy tried to get us on his snorkel excursion to these sites at $50 head, but after watching him take people 100 yards out, we figured we could do it ourselves....after we returned from swiming out he still tried to get us to go at $20 a head!

Had a similar experience to yours, but we stationed ourselves at Copacabana. And we paid the $20 for the boat ride out to the turtles & shipwrecks. We swam with 3 or 4 turtles, & snorkeled over 2 shipwrecks. Fun day!
