Appleton Rum distillery tour

Hi folks.

Has anyone found a way to take this tour from Montego Bay without also having to go to a waterfall? We were hoping for a quick trip -- just a couple of hours -- rather than an all-day excursion.

I'm thinking that hiring a taxi or a local guide from the pier may be my best bet. Any recommendations for a good company or individual to do an excursion without the waterfalls, Margaritaville, or a beach resort? Any taxi company recommendations (beyond it being a JUTA cab)? Any ideas on approximate cost for a couple hour tour by taxi?
