Can anyone tell me what ever happened to the S.S. Azure Seas?

The Azure Seas last sailed for Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines out of Ft. Lauderdale. She was sold for scrap a few years back. She also sailed for Dolphin and Premier Cruise Lines as the Ocean Breeze.

Thanks for the info. she was our first cruise in 1990 when we married and has always been on our minds. We will never forget some of the memories we had taken home from her.

S.S. Azure Seas Baja 11/90

My wife and I sailed Azure Seas in September 91 to Eastern Caribbean. it was our first cruise together and we hade a BLAST!

It was with sadness that I learned she was sold for scrap in 2004. The Fond Memories will always stay.

She certainly was one of the more unusual-looking ships one would see in US ports from the 1980s through the 2000s!

Azure Seas was our second cruise in 1990. We did the LA, San Diego, Catalina Island, Ensenada trip and really had a blast, even though it was a short cruise.

All good things must come to an end and I wasn't surprised to hear that she had been scrapped.
