In Writing from Harrah's Re: NCL

Just received my new Diamond card from Harrah's Total Rewards for next year. In the paperwork its says (and I quote):

COMING SOON TO A PORT NEAR YOU... Total Rewards members will be eligible for discounts on Norwegian Cruise Line, the youngest fleet on the planet. With their exclusive Freestyle Cruising you are free to eat when you want, wear what you want, and do what you want. Plus, your onboard casino play will earn you discounts off your cruise bill and more. Watch for details coming soon.

Still very elusive, not mentioning using Total rewards points for credits/free cruises or whether rank in TR will affect your discounts, but at least they have put something in writing! I am guessing from the verbage that there will be no merging of points structures, but maybe I will have some use for all these hundreds of thousands of TR points!!! Yipppeee!!!

Yep, read that last week as well. I have posted on another message board frequented by many others who partakeof the Harrahs "kool-aid". Nobody seems to have any additional information. I have also emailed my host to see if anyone knows anything.

There was additional discussion on on the recent CASINOS at SEA threads, but nothing more than what you posted.

Not to be negative, but what they are talking about so far is what they pretty much offer through the Casinos At Sea program. It will be great if they actually tie Total Rewards into the mix. Will see in time.

What Harrahs sent you your diamond card?? I got mine last week from Las Vegas and it did;t say anything like that. Usually I get them from AC and Harrah's in Chester, perhaps it will be included with them. Sounds much the same as CAS though. But maybe those of us with a host can get some additional perks.

I received my new Platinum card today from Harrah's AC and got the same info. Can't wait for all the details to come out.:D

we got our notices, last week, about still being diamond for next year...nothing about NCL.

then today he got a email from CAS..with 100 points for his birthday. (he can't use them, you have to book by end of april) nothing in that about harrahs.

I got mine also from Harrahs. They are just getting up to speed with some other casinos that are now giving free cruises to players. I would imagine this new program can only be a plus for us.
