Equinox Side trips in Egypt

Now that Equinox has completed its' first Ancient Empires cruise, can anyone from that cruise comment on the side trips from Alexandria, specifically the desert camel ride?

We've already done most of Egypt (pyrimids/Luxor/Valley of the Kings) on a land tour/Nile River cruise a couple of years ago, so are lookng for something a little different.

Are there any other side trips that stood out among the passengers, and not just specific to Egypt?
