hi pansy, We are going on the same cruise, but barbados to acapulco, so we will leave as you arrive, oceana is a great ship, lovely crew, we were on board for a med cruise, in August and had a fab time. Our trips will be mainly centred around Sailin, Snorkling, and Swimming, you can't go wrong with water based activities, we have been in the caribbean twice now and found out that going on trips which are land based we tended to go at the pace of the slowest member of the group, thats ok but can be a bit boring. so we have decided that boats and catamarans give us a good deal get us to where we want to go and then into the water and everyone does their own thing. On ceana this time, we are doing, Natural Wonders, Mushi Mushi Fun Sail, Passport to Paradise snorkel, Five Bay Sailaway. In Acapulco we are getting together with 10 other passengers and doing our own thing. When you get to Barbados at the end of your cruise you may have a full day there, as we did on the Arcadia 2005, we took the port shuttle bus to the town beach, as recommended by the cruise crew, and had a wonderful, and cheap day on the beach, chilling out and people watching, my sisters went to a plantation had a lovely time but it was a ships trip and cost. Have a fab time and look forward to hearing from you. Mrs PN
